Win2k and XP reconnecting problem
...SWORDS I find that Windows 2000 and Windows XP do transmit a empty password together the name, and that's why I get Incorrect password. I must stress that from Windows 95 and 98, logon reconnection works ok. Also reconnecting Windows 2000 or XP to a Win98 workstation at logon works ok, without reconfirming the password for every share. I tried with security=user and with encrypted passwords but nothing helps, I must reconfirm my password for every share at every logon. Can anybody help me to solve my problem? Thank you! [fdo] [PROPOSAL] Expiring accounts
(sent to freedesktop@ and sitewranglers@, please keep the discussion on freedesktop@) Hi all, currently we have a bit more than 700 user accounts on freedesktop.org. I suspect some of those are no longer active, but we currently have no way of detecting this. Some other large projects like Debian and Fedora try to detect activity through SSH logins, mailing list activity, etc. Ubuntu requires

LTO'd / PGO'd Pre-built Release Binary
A compiler built with LTO / PGO can significantly improve build times. Locally I see ~10% reduction in compilation times of Debug or Release versions of clang/llvm using an LTO'd clang compiler. This is not really news of course (e.g. recently also reconfirmed in https://linuxplumbersconf.org/event/7/contributions/802/), but that made me curious if we can and/or should enable LTO and/or PGO to

[LLVMdev] How to choose targets to build in CMake?
Hi all, I understand from the document that I should be able to configure llvm with only specific targets by passing -DLLVM_TARGETS_TO_BUILD=some-backend to cmake. However, I get the following errors whenever I don't include X86 in the target list: CMake Error at cmake/modules/LLVMConfig.cmake:127 (message): Library `X86' not found in list of llvm libraries. (I reconfirmed with -DLLVM_TARGETS_TO_BUILD=ARM on x86) For workaround, you have to include "X86" always.

-r required when -a already specified in --files-from?
Hi all, I am using rsync v.3.0.7 (protocol v30) on ubuntu 10.04. My rsync line looks like this, cd /home/shantanu/ rsync -av --files-from=bin/include-to-rsync.dat /home/shantanu/ \ /media/transcend/backup_laptop/shantanu/ include-to-rsync had directories in this format, bank/ dwhelper/ clients/ When I ran the script I noticed that a files in bank/10-11 were not getting synced. Use predict.lm
Hi All, I created a two variable lm() model slm<-lm(y[1:3000,8]~y[1:3000,12]+y[1:3000,15]) I made two predictions predict(slm,newdata=y[201:3200,]) predict(slm,newdata=y[601:3600,]) there is no error message for either of these. the results are identical, and identical to slm$fitted as well. if this is not the right way to apply the model coefficients to a new set of inputs, what is

JetDirect
Hi, WOW, this was posted over a year ago! A response now. The problem still exists. As reconfirmed in a post i read not to long ago (within the last 2 weeks?). HP jetdirect cards can only do one thing at a time. (HP has been writing Jetdirect firmware for 5 years, PLEASE HP you _MUST_ have the ability to fix it?! Or don't you??) This can be confirmed if you have an NT only shop. In the

Error Calling eraseFromParent()
LLVM is built in Release mode. The version is 6.0.0. I think that a similar code worked on verison 3.9.0. It is probably a null pointer dereference occurring in eraseFromParent(). I checked and reconfirmed that the instruction had no uses. Perhaps I should rebuild LLVM. Thanks. On Wed, Aug 8, 2018 at 9:03 PM, mayuyu.io <admin at mayuyu.io> wrote: > Hmmmm that’s strange. RFC: __attribute__((ifunc("resolver")) representation in LLVM IR
If changing nothing else I would probably go with another list since that is what is done for functions/variables/aliases. Having said that, more than once I wished we had an easy way to iterate all GlobalValues or all GrobalObjects. Any thoughts on the tradeoff having a single list with pointer to the start of each sub list? Something like Func1 <-> Func2 <-> Var1 <-> Var2

Big Bug:Time in VM running on xen goes slower
Dear all: I have found a big bug on xen concerning time virtualization. Please let me show you the whole process: 1 Phenomenon when I run a JVM based program in IE browser in my Virtual Machine, I have found clearly that time at the right bottom corner in my VM gets more slower and slower. I studied the bug deeply, and found something below. 2 Xen vmx_vmexit_handler --> ......... -->

Samba BDC in the same subnet not gettingconnection requests
...gt; 10.1.20.34 CMC-NT<1c> ***************************** Here 10.10.80.111 is my BDC. I am happy now. Now even the logging is working fine. Hope this thread helps someone in distress over the same issue. I have one last quick question. I know this has been answered in the Samba-3 HOWTO, just reconfirming. I will need to replicate the folders for the different services (like netlogon, profiles etc.) onto the BDC manually correct? And what should be the way I indicate the logon server from inside smb.conf. Is it %L? Thanks, Prakash

I would like to support __attribute__((target)) later so ifunc won't be opaque for compiler generated dispatchers. Thank you all for the feedback!
