CRAN checks and ASAN
...gz about leaks in main/eval.c. ?? They don't appear in 00config.out or 00install.out. ?I assume that I can ignore these? 2. When I run my long 'check all packages that depend on survival' job, a lot of package fail with sanitizer leaks.?? Again, not my problem? If so, I just need to recomple R without the ASAN tags and try again. Terry T. [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

vif-antispoof
Hi folks, I started testing the antispoof feature of xen stable (2.0.7). I am stuck with it. I have setup a standard bridged environment. I understood it like this: in domU config I set up the virtual NIC like vif = [ ''mac=ae:00:00:78:78:78, ip=192.168.0.100'' ] Then I configure /etc/network/interface of this domU to show the same IP address for eth0. After restarting

sssd-ad cannot be installed with sernet samba
...the support at sernet. Is already nice of them that the are making packages. and still, lots of talk here, but no is saying what is not working. yes.. 1 missing file, read the wiki, the solution is there also. sssd does not works.. thats a sssd problem and WHY does sssd not work, ever try to recomple it.. i did on ubuntu and debian.. but then you know. sernet only supplies samba, and not sssd kerberos etc.. which are all depends of sssd. so setup samba from distro or source and use sssd, or setup samba with sernet packages, and use nss/winbind. then if you have a problem post it here agai...

sssd-ad cannot be installed with sernet samba
...missing file. Are you sure it mentions the missing file on the samba wiki ? If not, I will add it to the member server page (which really needs retitling, you can use the same setup for a Linux client). > sssd does not works.. thats a sssd problem and WHY does sssd not work, > ever try to recomple it.. i did on ubuntu and debian.. > but then you know. sernet only supplies samba, and not sssd kerberos etc.. > which are all depends of sssd. Ah, but sssd does work, it just doesn't install with the sernet packages, so you pay your money (nothing) and take your choice, either samba f...

PANIC: assert failed rpc_parse/parse_net.c
Has anyone come across the above in 2.0.7 in a Solaris/Sunos environment. The result is that certain users cann't map drives. Thought it might be something specifc to this version and the user being a secondary member of a large group (not netgroups)... Then I checked the source and the parse_net.c is the same version.... Anyone.... TIA Gordon

Paging Followup
Hello All, Hoping all of you might have an additional option for me to try at this point. :) My Goal: To have a paging option that does the following.... When I press **_XXXX it will send a ring-answer page to that person. The person on the other end should be muted, so if they are in a conference, you can't hear what is going on in the meeting. If that person hears me and decides they want

Compiling modules in kernel source but not included in distro.
Hi, I've been trying to compile some kernel modules for centos 6.5, specifically fore_200e atm driver (although I also have hardware to try nicstar and he ). This module is not included in the centos kernel or modules but is included in the stock kernel source. Lots of articles on compiling or patching modules in general or compiling code not included in the kernel source, but not much
