FAQ/General/RebuildReleaseProcess
Just updated the subject page
http://wiki.centos.org/FAQ/General/RebuildReleaseProcess
based on Karanbir's comment on centos-devel:
http://lists.centos.org/pipermail/centos-devel/2010-May/005545.html
Is there better material available to replace the erroneous content, or
should the page be removed?

Hi all,
Trying to lookup QA related team, data and general info.
Issues:
* Not allowed to view below page, even if logged in.
https://wiki.centos.org/QaTeam
* Page below mentions QA mailing list.
https://wiki.centos.org/FAQ/General/RebuildReleaseProcess
No QA list though on page below.
https://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo/
* QaWiki section linked below is very out of date. Is it and the team active?
https://wiki.centos.org/QaWiki
Can anyone offer detail into QA related activities?
Regards
Phil

I'm not sure that I understand.
Is there indeed such a public repository of the build scriptds / RPM
specs used by CentOS?
That would indeed be fascinating and useful

how is "binary compatibility" determined?
Hi all!
We've seen quite a few references on the list to "100% binary
compatibility with upstream". What I am curious about is, how precisely
is this determined? All the ways I can think of for comparing how two
systems might work seem flawed in some way (e.g., using some sort of
checksum; unit testing; verifying build parameters). I did some
searches both at centos.org and

The page contains pieces of information which is preferable to not be
available for reading to the general public,

That wiki page is heavily outdated. Things have changed a lot in the
last couple of years and the wiki pages were not updated accordingly. In
particular the QA mailing list is no longer used.

CentOS 6: what's the status?
Hello listmates,
So, what's the story with CentOS 6? It is supposed to be out by now,
or coming out soon, or so I heard - but yet there seems to be no
mention of it at http://centos.org/ . Does anybody know what's up with
that?
Thanks.
Boris.
