Polycom SP 601 Reboot Issue- Help!
I have a Polycom 601 with 3 expansion modules running 2.0.3. We have Buddywatch set up on around 42 users on the expansion modules. We are experiencing reboots on the 601. Today it happened twice after users paged through the phones. The page groups have about 23 phones each. There is a third page group comprising all 46 phones. I'm thinking it may be an issue with changing buddywatch

Radeon 9000 breaks with CentOS 4.4
Dell Inspiron 600M w/ Radeon 9000 card. This worked with CentOS 4.3, also works with Knoppix 4.0.2. Graphical installation succeeds, but upon reboot, and all subsequent rebbots, graphical mode does not work, the screen becomes black. In addition to the 2.6.9-42 kernel, we have also tried the 2.6.9-42.0.2 kernel. Same problem exists on both kernel. Running system-config-display --reconfig

msdfs not working on netbios aliases?
...ully redirected as a DFS to \\penguin\share2. But when trying to connect via the aliased name to \\server-oldname\share1 and \\server-oldname\share2 only share1 is seen correctly. share2 gives an error requesting me to check my permissions. This behaviour however is not entirely persistent. After rebboting my client, as long as having only one redirect proxy sometimes I can see the aliased name correctly. Has anyone else observed this behaviour? Am I missing something important? Any help appreciated. Roland

When I installed Centos 7 I didn't installed any LIS package or so as I understood it's built-in. How are you handling this? Is it recommended to install/update to the latest LIS from

weird XFS problem
Hello all, I have a CentOS 5.7 machine hosting a 16 TB XFS partition used to house backups. The backups are run via rsync/rsnapshot and are large in terms of the number of files: over 10 million each. Now the machine is not particularly powerful: it is 64-bit machine, dual core CPU, 3 GB RAM. So perhaps this is a factor in why I am having the following problem: once in awhile that XFS partition
