Has anybody looked into potentially getting the LLVM docs hosted on readthedocs.org <http://readthedocs.org/> and automatically built from the LLVM Git mirror (or through Subversion post-commit hooks)? Since we're already using Sphinx, this seems like a low-cost, low-interference way of hosting the generated documentation. -- Dean -------------- next part ---------...

docs.gluster.org
Hello, To reduce confusion, we've setup docs.gluster.org pointing to gluster.readthedocs.org. Both URLs will continue to work for the forseeable future. Please update any references that you control to point to docs.gluster.org. At some point in the distant future, we will switch to hosting docs.gluster.org on our own servers. RTD will set up a canonical link to docs.gluster.org[1]....

gluster volume + lvm : recommendation or neccessity ?
...'ve read on the gluster & redhat documentation, that it seems recommended to use XFS over LVM before creating & using gluster volumes. Sources : https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Storage/3/html/Administration_Guide/Formatting_and_Mounting_Bricks.html http://gluster.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Administrator%20Guide/Setting%20Up%20Volumes/ My point is : do we really need LVM ? For example , on a dedicated server with disks & partitions that will not change of size, it doesn't seems necessary to use LVM. I can't understand clearly wich partitioning strategy woul...

partial analisys of a time series
Dear list members I want to analyze separately the months of a time series. In other words, I want to plot and fit models for each month separately. Regarding the setup with uWSGI + NGINX, the Django documentation "How to use Django with Apache and mod_wsgi"? is excellent: https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/1.11/howto/deployment/wsgi/modwsgi/ There is also a similar setup for NGINX on readthedocs (which I assume will also work): http://uwsgi-docs.readthedocs.io/en/latest/tutorials/Django_and_nginx.html For the rest: Google is your friend, you'll find lots of information on each of these topics. How to ensure thread-safety
Hi, I have read the concurrency webpage from the Xapian documentation: http://getting-started-with-xapian.readthedocs.io/en/latest/concepts/concurrency.html But it is still not clear to me how to ensure thread-safety when using libxapian (C++ API). Usually when doing multi-threading many threads can read the same variable concurrently without locking provided none of the threads modifies the variable. 1) Does th...

[LLVMdev] Proposal: REST and Ajax in LNT
...as possible. Since we are not in the business of reinventing web technologies, I think we should use one of the preexisting flask frameworks for this. I have experimented with two: Eve + eve-sqlalchmey and flask-RESTful. http://python-eve.org <http://python-eve.org/> https://flask-restful.readthedocs.org/en/0.3.3/ <https://flask-restful.readthedocs.org/en/0.3.3/> If anyone in the community has some ideas on this I’d love to hear them. Thus far, I hacked on Eve for an afternoon and could not get it to understand LNTs (admittedly obscure) database structure. Flask-RESTful looked simple, b...
