1.0.rc21 released
http://dovecot.org/releases/dovecot-1.0.rc21.tar.gz http://dovecot.org/releases/dovecot-1.0.rc21.tar.gz.sig Just one fix. Maybe the one big thing in Dovecot v2.0.* will be a test suite, which is run before any release. :) - Cache file handling could have crashed rc20 -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... net ads join on AIX 5.2 - Mission Impossible ?
Hi all, is it possible at all to get Samba 3 on AIX 5.2 to join a Win 2003 Domain natively ? All the precompiled versions do not have AD Support and having AIX krb5 installed (let alone using --with-ads)is enough to make a compile run fail - both 3.0.14 and 3.0.20rc2. Might Heimdal solve this ? Has ANYONE got a working installation ? Solving this would make quite a difference to my current life,

rc19 - (_view_lookup_uid_range): assertion failed
Apologies if this is an <=rc19 thing, but am waiting for rc24 to come into Debian unstable/testing before upgrading. After purging ~10 messages from INBOX the index's appeared to go into a broken state. Mail client (Outlook express) reported "unable to read message flags". Logged messages: Feb 23 17:34:58 mailget01 dovecot: IMAP(drawkcab at drawkcab.com): file mail-index-view.c:

repeat downloads of message headers in 1.0rc19
I upgraded one server to 1.0rc19 (from rc15) over the weekend, and have since received several reports of dovecot erroneously retrieving older messages as new mail. I've seen this myself intermittently on KMail, and users have reported it on Thunderbird, Squirrelmail, and Outlook. I see some things in the archives that suggest that this was a problem in older 1.0 release candidates, but

Planning a dovecot deployment: issues and questions
Hi folks, I am currently evaluating Dovecot for deployment to ~200 software engineers (so, heavy email users); I'm hoping this list could provide wisdom about how best to do the configuration, evaluation and deployment, and what testing folks have done to determine whether dovecot is right for their site. Below I've listed the diffs between the dovecot-example.conf and our config.
