Does someone have an idea about that problem?
The thing is that icecast is running on a uml linux. But this worked
some weeks ago, then I come back to it, and I can't get it work again...
Thanks,

Analyzing dendograms??
...;euclidean")
sclus <- hclust(sampdist, method="average")

gclus <- hclust(genedist, method="average")
heatmap(matrix[,],Rowv=as.dendrogram(gclus),Colv=as.dendrogram(sclus), col=rbg)
So far so good. But what if I want to look at a group of genes that appear
to have the same expression pattern in the heatmap? How do I zoom in on a
dendogram in a heatmap to look at which genes that are forming the
interesting clusters? I would really appreciate if someone could give me a

heatmap function
Hi all,
By default, the heatmap function gives an image with a dendrogram added
to the
left side and to the top. Is it possible to only add the dendrogram to
the left side
and let the order of the columns unchanged ?
I tried
heatmap(mat, col=rbg,Rowv=res.hclust$order,Colv=1:dim(mat)[[2]]).
In this case, the order of the columns are unchanged but a dendrogram
is added to the top. How can I avoid it?
Thanks,
Oiliver

theora encoder reordering, order of puting data from DCT 8x8 blocks to huffman compressor, and puting result of huffman compressor to buffer bitstream memory
Good day!
I'm creating HDL IP CORE (for using in FPGA) for theora encoder (now only
I-frames).
I don't undestand one moment. Now i develop such stages:
1. From RBG(byer) to YCbCr converter
2. DCT processing (8x8 pixels blocks)
3. Quantizator of DCT coeff.
4. Zig-Zag of quantized DCT coeff.
and now i have uresolved last stage of compression - how i must send 8x8
blocks to huffman compressor? I don't understand ordering.
I must send all DC coeff (Y, than Cb...

Empirical cumulative distribution with censored data
Dear list,
I would like to plot the empirical cumulative distribution of the time
needed by a treatment to attain a certain goal. A number of
experiments is run with a strict time limit. In some experiments the
goal is attained before the time limit, in other experiments time
expires before the goal is attained. The situation is very similar to
survivial analysis with censored data. I tryed

hardware crypto and SSL?
Is anyone successfully using some sort of hardware crypto solution to
combat the overhead of SSL in http transactions? I'd love to hear
anything good or bad about this.

Still the big Icecast problem!
Easy... when I made this java applet :
http://rbg.online.stalig.net/jplayer/radio-bro-gwened.html
I used a signed lib from jorbis without modifying it. I just made a
subclass of JOrbisPlayer which change the behaviour for what I wanted.
I can provide my wall JBuilder project for those interested to use it.
Easy way:
- just change the html file...

random number generation
Can a single random number be generated in R? I have an exercise that wants
to simulate coin tosses, and I cannot seem to find a good example of the use
of random number generation in R. Any help?

Bert answered your subject line question. Your text is asking something
else: if those are colours, you don't want to treat each of them as a
single integer.
