Portable R in zip file for Windows
What is wrong with you guys? I asked for a zip, like R Studio has for example. Totally clear. I cant execute exes. But I can unzip files. Thanks Gabor, I had that in mind, but can't execute the exe due to security restrictions. Geez, really, treating people who ask questions this way just makes you don't want to ask a single one. Descriptive Statistics of time series data
Hi I have four variables and the time series data for each variable consists of values for past 10 years on monthly basis. I want to get descriptive stats for these four variables separately (mean, median, sd, min, max). The data I import to R consists of different columns, where each column gives values for one month of a particular year (e.g. March 31st, 2010). Right now R gives descriptive

Hello, R-Help answers questions on R code, your question is about statistics. Linear regression with tranformed dependant variable
Dear all,?I am trying to fit a multiple linear regression model with a transformed dependant variable (the normality assumption was not verified...).?I have realised a sqrt(variable) transformation...?The results are great, but I don't know how to interprete the beta coefficients... Is it possible to do another transformation to get interpretable beta coefficients to express the variations in

How to test the difference between paired correlations?
Thank you, but this now sounds more difficult: what would be the point in having these ready-made functions if I have to do it manually? Anyway, How would I implement the last part?
