rasberry pi
I'm debating between a cloud PBX or, perhaps, rasberry pi. For a SOHO, maybe three hardphones, rasberry pi would suffice? I would be amazed, but, if so, great. thanks, Thufir -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... ok, that's really all I need to know. Of course, if anyone else wants to throw in their two cents, don't let me stop you :) -Thufir On Wed, Jul 6, 2016 at 1:36 AM, Frank Vanoni <mailinglist at linuxista.com> wrote: > I'm currently using Asterisk 11.7.0 on a Raspberry Pi 2 Model B with > Ubuntu Server 14.04. > > Works fine! :-) > > Frank > > On Wed,

RasPi 3.x and RH-based Distro (Slightly OT)
With the release of the Rasberry Pi 3.x, I think we have a platform I could jump on board with. Performance has just been lacking until now! But I really don't want to jump the "RH ship" - I'd rather stick with an environment I am comfortable in. Can anybody comment here on the best way to run RHEL/Fedora/CentOS on a RasPi, or if there's even a useful port? Thanks

What small device do you have in mind? The smallest device I could possibly imagine *encoding* FLAC on is Rasberry Pi which has 512Meg of RAM. If you really are concerned about this (and knowing that it has little

PowerShield Defender 1200VA
Hi, Sometime ago I asked the question about getting nut to run on my iMac as I was having trouble getting the USB driver to behave with OS X. The same driver under LINUX is fine. It was suggested that the better option might be to run nut on a Rasberry PI instead and monitor the nut daemon from the iMac. Well I have bought a Rasberry PI, I have other things planned for it. I have installed nut

[LLVMdev] Visual Studio 2012 cl.exe ICE while building LLVM for x64 (in TableGen) at -O2
As an update to this: http://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/details/769222/cl-exe-ice-when-building-llvm-trunk-at-o2 Microsoft has reproduced the ICE, given a workaround, and is planning a fix for a future MSVC release. I know not a lot of people are building with VS, but it's nice to know. The workaround involves marking a single function with attribute((noinline)) and is

LLVM on bare-metal
Hi Peter Thank you for your helpful comments, especially on the RPI.  Since my use case is lot simpler than compiling all of Clang, I hopefully can take your experience as a good sign. The RTOS that TI provides for the AM335x actually has pretty complete posix layer and other standard libraries.  However, I am working without any virtual memory subsystem, so no mmap.  However, I was under

[LLVMdev] Visual Studio 2012 cl.exe ICE while building LLVM for x64 (in TableGen) at -O2
Hi, Just wanted to point this out here, in case it hasn't been run into yet. I've filed a bug with MS already, but it might be a warning to anyone thinking about uninstalling their older versions. Workaround was to build lib/TableGen (well, all of LLVM really due to a case of laziness) at /O1 and utils/TableGen at /Od. Turning inline expansion to 0 apparently works as well.

WINS Not Updating When Client Moves Subnet
Hi This is my first post so please be gentle! Many thanks to the developers of Samba, I?ve used it for years and it is a great system! I?m running Samba Version 3.6.6 on a raspberry Pi for testing purposes before using in anger and a Linux PC! I only need the functionality of WINS for my application for XP and Win7 clients, my PCs won?t be on a domain. I use a separate DHCP server that dishes
