Restarting NUT twice in the same time creates 2 instances of usbhid-ups driver
...hen restarting nut, script
stop nut and start it again.
When starting again the driver is one more time started without any
verification that its already launched.
I think there is a problem in code there. have you a solution to bypass
this problem without rewriting /etc/init.d/nut
Thanks

RCSS problems
...Unknown action - No action responded to test.css", which I don''t
understand since the route and controller are in place.
Anyway, hopefully this is just a newbie''s lacking knowledge of Rails :-)
Whatever pointers you might have would be greatly appreciated...

winbindd - NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED
Hi,
I've joined my new SAMBA-3 in a NT4 PDC using the administrator user.
The winbindd daemon is started but when I try :
wbinfo -g, I see in the log file :
could not enumerate domain groups! Error:NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED
Which could be the reasons of this error ?
Thank you,

...DC to a SAMBA-LDAP-PDC with 1000
users. Each user has a roaming profile on the NT server.
Of course, I want to migrate all the roaming profiles automaticaly on
the Samba server without any intervention on clients ! How can do that ?
How to preserve the ownership of each profile ?
Thank you,

Need to detect event: a user move a message to a “spam folder” (for antispam filter)
I?m writing an immune system based antispam filter.
I need to detect when a user move a message to her spam folder (to
inform the filter). I
I found ?cmd_copy? in imap library so I detect the copy event. But at
this level I wasn?t able to find info about which mail and which user
copy this message.
My question is:
Were I can find user Info to know how is moving this message

idmap mapping questions
...: printer admin) I've to setup
the uid of a user and not his real name otherwise the user is considered
as unknown !
How to deal with the access permission to the files and directories if
the mapping (SID - uid) change or if the idmap.tdb is corrupted ?
Thank you for your help.

What's happend when the UID/SID mapping changes for a computer account ?
...gon server.
Before this problem, a 'net rpc vampire' was done to resynchronize the
samba ldap-sam with the NT4 PDC, and samba has been restarted, I suspect
that after this operation the UID/SID idmap mapping has been changed !
What do you think ?
Thank you for your help !

Idmap_ldap strange issue
...nbindd_idmap.tdb file. I've done
a test by deleting this file. After that if I launch pdbedit -L, samba
rebuild the all idmap mapping in winbindd_idmap.tdb but also in the LDAP
directory. Then in LDAP, there is for each group and user 2
idmap entries !! Strange !!
Any suggestion ?
See you,

...s to be ok,
but when I add a new user with smbpasswd, his sambaSID doesn't
correspond to the Domain SambaSID ! And in the LDAP directory, the

wbinfo -c duplicate entry
Hi,
With "wbinfo -c user", a entry is created in winbind_idmap.tdb. But if I
retype the same command with same username a second entry (with a
different uid) is created in tdb file.
Is behavior normal ?
