I am using RADVD to assign IPv6 addresses. It works for 'static' devices. I want it to work for devices that move to different networks without having to restart the network on those devices. So I had dhcp, radvd and bind working together nicely and now I threw in a wrench of setting up an AD DC I want to change my dhcp server setting to put client's into the new AD Domain but am a little hesitant as it is all working so nicely with DDNS I'm starting to think all I need to do is edit just my dhcpd...

...in 99.9% of all setups - seems like you never > before hat running a dhcpd..... Like 10 years ago. When I built my own firewalls. Since then dhcpd was a commercial firewall process. Well a little with Amahi, but that was also years ago when I was contributing to that work. Did dhpc6 and RADVD. Still have the config files, but they are old.
