mounting an nfs4 file system as v4.0 in CentOS 7.4?
CentOS 7.4 client mounting a CentOS 7.4 server filesystem over nfs4.
nfs seems to be much slower since the upgrade to 7.4, so I thought it
might be nice to mount the directory as v4.0 rather than the new default
of v4.1 to see if it makes a difference.
The release notes state, without an example:
"You can retain the original behavior by specifying 0 as the minor version"

Stuck with FFT
Dear all,
Before I can get into serious Fourier analysis of Radon time-series I am
practising with 24hour and 24.8hour sinusoids to assist with my
interpretation of signals ittributed to tidal input to Radon time series.
I am stuck. I have tried researching this to no avail. I am awating a book
that should describe fourier transforms in detail and another one th...

samba3.0.10
Hi Jerry/Samba Team
I have Samba 3.0.10 installed on Solaris8 server and Samba-client-2.2.10
installed on Linux Red Hat2.1AS servers
The Linux servers use Samba to mount filesystems from Solaris8 server.
My question is how to find out on the Solaris8 server which Linux servers
are using Samba to mount from.
Because it is hideous to go to every Linux server and see which Solaris8
server they are

Isolinux bug: CD bootsector support broken
...below. I have tried both longhorn and

I would be willing to try any betas to fix this, but it should
be easily reproducable. You can download the wxp10.zip from the BartPE
website to get the boot sector.
Thanks,

Creating netcdf from table
Hi!
I have a table with 3 columns, 2 for long/lat coordinates and 1 for values
(radon concentration). I have Tables for every week of the year 2006, always
same coordinates but other values, i.e. time series. Now I want to create a
NetCDF file for, which is much easier to handle than 52 tables. I tried the
following for the first dataset (i.e first week):

Negative/ positive rolling correlation
...and associated data sheets and graphs?
Oh, I'm using Rcmdr. In my case it is an excellent software that cuts hours
off my progamming work freeing up time for other parts of the project and
breaks, lol!
The other, I want to do a correlation to highlight matching patterns between
two columns of radon levels (96 lines each) divided by the hour they were
recorded in the two machines. A scattergraph is similar but I want to
produce visualtisations for negative/ positive correlation against time. Can
anyone suggest anything? Thanks.
Cheers if you can help.

You mention you have hardware problems, what are they? A write is blocked
for longer than they host is willing to wait. There are a few sysctl parameters
that affect this but I'd be more willing to suggest its related...

...ejection is probably working because it is
using AMD drivers.
- The reset in Linux fails when it has no drivers so the reset probably
triggers a driver operation
- The driver operation probably fails because it is not tied to an AMD
driver
Another option I have not yet tested would be loading the radon driver to
bind and unbind it before adding it back to pciback, which may cause the
proper reset chain to occur. I didn''t see it in the drivers list though
and wouldn''t know where to begin loading it without causing problems.
If anyone knows how to cause a D0>D3>D0 power ch...

Extreme value probabilities
Greetings to all --
I have a set of ~1300 radon measurements from homes across British
Columbia in Canada. We have split these measurements into five groups
according the the tectonic belt in which they fall, with N ranging
from ~160 to ~600 measurements per group. The values are roughly
log-normally distributed (1) overall and (2) within each...

rsentry: fake entry time, just before rstime
setno: risk set identifier

cr500: independent variable 1 (0/1), cumulative radon > 500WLM
smoke25: independent variable 2 (0/1), 1/2+ pack/dat at age 25
logw: weight to be used as an offset in the model
rstime2: indicator variable to indicate whether age is below 50, 50-69 or >=70,
used as strata in the model

LDAP: allow pop3, restrict imap
Hello,
I have all userdata in a ldapserver. Every user has the right to use pop3.
There is no explicit attribute allowing that. It's simply possible.
Now I like to add imap. For a starting period I like to restrict, who
may use imap.
http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Authentication/RestrictAccess mention a solution
where I could modify ldap pass_filter. But that require an attribute

Safe to downgrade 2.2 to 2.1?

is recommended?
Unfortunately with 2.2+ it is not to be possible to use acl + lazy_expunge
together anymore, so downgrading is the only option for me...
@Timo, please fix acl + lazy_expunge in 2.2 if you find some time.
