HCL HP R5000 supported by bcmxcp
Hi, I'd like to inform You that this UPS communicates well via the
serial port. I haven't tested USB, and no shutdown testing so far,
however, I hope it will run well.

substring if value starts with a character
Hello togehter,
i have a litte problem to convert a data.frame. My data.frame looks like
this one
A
1 R5000
2 R4800
3 R4700
4 3500
5 3800
I need now a command, which outputs all the numbers, without the character
in front.
The solution look like this one:
A
1 5000
2 4800
3 4700
4 3500
5 3800
Thanks.
Best regards. Mat

installing under IRIX 6.3
Dear All:
I'm new to R, though I've used S+ on Windows. Since now I'm working on a
SGI, I would like to switch to R.
I'm trying to install R v.0.64.1 on a Silicon Graphics R5000 under IRIX
6.3, 180 MHz, 128 Mb RAM, but ran into some problems.
When I do the ./configure everything goes well, but when I do the make I
get the following error:
ld: ERROR 33: Unresolved text symbol "__builtin_alignof" -- 1st
referenced by errors.o.
ld: INFO 60: Output file removed beca...

[LLVMdev] Mirroring of LLVM repository
...services like buildbots, bugzilla, etc. It was found that this
workload is possible caused by massive mirroring of LLVM SVN
repository into git/hg/whatever. Please don't do that :)
1. Usually one don't need full history, this makes the mirroring much
easier and faster (do you *really* need r5000? I guess - no)
2. There are some git mirrors already, which can be used for
'bootstrapping' git-svn - you can really save a lot of resources using
them. They might be not so up-to-date (often they are updated daily
during late night hours for US people), but as I already mentioned -
you wil...

[PATCH 00/12] Multidisk support
Hello,
the following patches should get multidisk access working.
The syntax accepted is the following:
(hdx,y)/path/to/file
where x is the disk number and start at 0 and the y is the partition number starting at 1. So (hd0,1) is the first partition of the first disk.
the other accepted syntax is using MBR's 32 bits disk signature so for example:
(mbr:0x12345678,2)/foo/bar
