[PATCH v3 3/8] drm/fb_helper: Introduce hotplug_suspend/resume()
...think if we just leave output polling enabled during runtime suspend > that might actually fix all of the fb_helper locking issues since we won't > need to wait on any of the output poll workers to finish, at least I think it > should: I'll confirm this when I get into the office Quoth Imre Deak: "In i915 polling is on during runtime suspend only if there are outputs without hotplug interrupt support. A special case is when an output has working HPD interrupts when in D0, but no interrupts when runtime suspended. For these we start polling (from a scheduled w...

table sorting/manipulation library?
I have a library I''ve developed that I believe is the most flexible and useful table sorting/striping/row-selecting library around. Big features: Single and multiple-level sort Arbitrary sort criteria (IP address, date, etc.) Works with table headers that are > 1 row or column large Stripe tables and/or enable row selecting Row selecting supports drag-select and SHIFT-click No extra

wierd ssl-parameters.dat regeneration error
I just had a strange problem with my Dovecot 1.0 installation. After about two weeks, it logged these messages: dovecot: Error: ssl-build-param: rename(/usr/local/var/lib/dovecot/ssl-parameters.dat.tmp, /usr/local/var/lib/dovecot/ssl-parameters.dat) failed: No such file or directory dovecot: Error: child 30689 (ssl-build-param) returned error 89 And thereafter, all

Timing of banner
A user at a Windows PC uses our SSH client software (Anzio) to access a Linux sshd. User would like the banner from the server to display BEFORE entering a login name. According to the SSH spec, this should be allowed. But the OpenSSH source seems to have specifically prevented this. Is there a good reason for this? Well, "Hard filesystem quota can also be problematic"
"Hard filesystem quota can also be problematic", quoth <http://www.dovecot.org/>. Since we actually use quota for our userbasg, this merited further investigation. Using 1.0-stable, we enabled quota on /var and /users filesystems, and set very low quota for a test account. Then we had some mail delivered on it, and we moved some messages abo...

Version 1.0.13 - Maildir directory names
I am running Maildir (obtained via [mac|darwin] ports) on my Powerbook Pro to operate as local mail storage. My mail is stored in the Maildir format. Is it possible to set Maildir not to put a dot in front of the directory names? (e.g., ~/Maildir/somefolder instead of ~/Maildir/.somefolder). OS X's spotlight indexing/search service will not index "hidden" directories (those that

Dovecot fails almost every 20 minutes exactly
Hi all, We just set up our new mail servers using Postfix and Dovecot. We have implemented a load balanced solution to where our two mail servers have a common NFS share. Everything is working great. Everything but Dovecot for the most part. In testing, Dovecot was great. Now that we're in the production environment, we've noticed that every 20 minutes, Dovecot will stop

mbox to Maildir conversion
I've been running a mbox solution using UW's IMAP server. I've run it for years. Now do to heavy message volumes, I've decided to to take the plunge to convert to the Maildir format. I am currently testing a single user, and have successfully converted the mail messages from mbox to Maildir format, and now I am setting up the procmail tool to place the messages into the correct

netbsd client can mount zfs snapshot dir but it never updates
My Solaris 10 box is exporting a ZFS filesystem over NFS. I''m accessing the data with a NetBSD 3.1 client, which only supports NFS 3. Everything works except when I look at the .zfs/snapshot directory. The first time I list out the .zfs/snapshot directory, I get a correct listing of the contents. An hour later, when a snapshot has been deleted and a new one created, I still see the

quota calculating
Hey everyone, Currently where I work we use qmail. Every time a message is delivered, qmail seems to walk through the user's entire maildir in order to calculate quota usage. Delivering messages simultaneously to just a few users who are allowed large maildirs (1-2GB) will bring our servers to their knees. Which brings me to dovecot. I use dovecot whereever I can, but haven't yet

Inbox re-initialized
Hi folks, I just replaced my mail server's UW-imap with dovecot yesterday. I use the following folder setting default_mail_env = mbox:/asiaa/home/%u/:/asiaa/home/%u/mail/:INBOX=/var/mail/%u:INDEX=/asiaa/home/%u/mail/dovecot_indexes This is a Scientific linux 4.2 with dovecot 0.99.11-2 . Now today the server loading is highly reduced because of the pop3 session impact is low. But users

Strange Mail Problem
I submitted this question to the Postfix maillist and they suggested that I post to this one. Here's my issue: I have a Postifx email system running on a CentOS 4 box, with Dovecot pop3 and imap. Last week, one of my users reported to me that about a dozen emails suddenly showed up in his in box (as unread messages), but none of them were addressed to him. Under further investigation,

In my logs, I have tons of
