virt-clone - In what state should the VM be?
I am attempting to clone a Xen VM running on a CentOS 5.3 box. RH9/W2K Networking
Hi, I've searched for days to find some step by step instructions but haven't found anything that seems to work. Samba LDAP user adding
I just installed samba 2.2.7 on Mandrake 9 with OpenLDAP support. I have set up OpenLDAP and everything is cool. portmap vulnerability?
Are there any known vulnerabilities in portmap (redhat''s portmap-4.0-7b)? I''ve been receiving a lot of attempts to access the portmap port on some linuxppc machines I administer by various machines which clearly have no business with mine, and I wonder if this is an attempt to break in to my machines. Please note that Windows 9x clients are not true members of a domain for reasons outlined in this article. Therefore the protocol for support Windows 9x style domain logons is completely different from NT4 domain logons and has been officially supported for some time. Did you read this document?
