Routing problem
Hi,
i have one firewall/gateway server with two interfaces and a routing
problem (?).
eth0: external interface
eth1: internal interface. Both ip address are valid.
Services like DNS, HTTP is configured to run using eth1 ip address.
The problem is when i try to connect from internet to firewall, i can´t see
eth1 ip address... only eth0 ip address.
So, when i try to connect to web

Asterisk Database
...I need to store the CallerId of the PSTN caller with his language preference so that next time he is played the prompt in his language that he chose the first time. What would be better - storing his number in the Asterisk DB and using Dbput and DBget ? or storing it in MySQL from the dial plan and quering it everytime to see the callers record ? how many records can AstDB handle safely ? In my case the total records wont exceed 20,000 since there are many repeat callers ?

How to provide a result from D(f(x), "x") to a curve(f'(x)) ???
Hi all,
I want to provide the result from D() to curve(), because I want to plot the k-th derivative of some functions. Actually, I copy from console the result given by D() and paste inside curve(). With a lot of functions and high degree differentiation this process is tedious. Can I provide directly??
# what I actually have done (very simple function)
D(expression(x^3), "x") # copy

Hi German users,
Can one of you guys give me a German Phrase that I can use to
demonstrate tokenizing non-ascii text. Preferably something about 40
bytes long with lots of umlauts and perhaps a ?.

Instrumentation for metrics
> This makes me think that the syslog approach is probably the way to go
Yeah, right.
Another idea is to mirror the current preauth load via setproctitle()...
That makes that data accessible even without a syscall (at least the
writing of the data - quering needs syscalls, right), so that can be
kept up-to-date and allows a high monitoring frequency as well.
Multiple instances of SSHd (on different ports) are easily distinguished
as well.

[LLVMdev] Traverse SelectionDAG in gdb
Hi,
I am some difficulty in traversing and quering about selectionDAG.
One great way of doing it is through Dot as described in the docs. However,
in my case the llvm source code is installed on a remote linux machine and I
am accessing it through a Windows PC. So the "popping out" of graphs is not
possible. Is there a way that I can dum...

Double integral
Hi all,
I need to solve double integrals with no closed solution. Calling x and y the two variables we have x ~ Normal(y*v,1) and y ~Half-Normal(0,1). In fact, given a joint funcion g(x,y), I need evaluate the integral of this function under that random structure. Could anyone suggest me a package or even a suitable method to solve this problem?
Thanks all,
Caio

deleting files on server side
Hello all,
Do someone know how can I delete files on a rsync server by using a rsync
client without using SSH/RSH?
Doing a "rsync -avz --stats --port=874 /export/home/user/*
destinationhost::TEST" I?m copying files from /export/home/user/* to the
'path' of destinationhost. TEST module have the ?path? directive set to
?/home/user?.
My doubt is how can I delete all

Empty set in MySQL for puppetdashboard.
...ntly installed puppet-dashboard (latest), to puppet with MySQL.
Things are looking hunkydory, but some nodes are not appearing in the
db.
In the puppet-dashboard logs we have:
Node Load (0.4ms) SELECT * FROM `nodes` WHERE (`nodes`.`name` =
''my.host'') ORDER BY name ASC LIMIT 1
Quering the db directly, that is indeed the case:
mysql> SELECT * FROM `nodes` WHERE (`nodes`.`name` = ''my.host'') ORDER
BY name ASC LIMIT 1;
Empty set (0.00 sec)
However, under /var/lib/puppet/reports on the puppet box, I can find a
directory called after my.host.
I have forty nodes...
