Pressing 0 in Voicemail causes * to hangup
I tried it w/ mine as well and it hung up on me because I just have Voicemail running not Voicemail2. It seems as though you have Voicemail2 because it's trying to play the Unavialable message. Just a thought though. Does it do the samething w/ [qout-phillyq] exten => 0,1,Voicemail(u1) exten => 0,2,Goto(default,s,1) Tim Thompson http://www.amatechtel.com (806) 722-2227

quotes
Hello! I''m new on this list (and actually pretty new to redcloth also). This e-mail is about the wery fine feature of converting quotes. I''m norwegian, and we have our own qoutes: "?" and "?". I therefore hacked this feature, so it is now in lib/redcloth.rb, around line 404, so I now have: [ /([^\s\[{(>#{PUNCT_Q}][#{PUNCT_Q}]*)"/, ''\1»'' ], # double closing -- Henriks hack for norske hermetegn [ /&qu...

pxelinux - loading vmlinuz and initrd.gz
Greetings, Hopefully a quick question.. I have been experimenting with pxelinux and have noticed the following, when using initrd.gz - vmlinuz needs to exist 'tftpboot' directory, else I get an error from pxelinux. eg. kernel/vmlinuz - vmlinux also needs to exist in initrd.gz (in the same relative path eg. kernel/vmlinuz) else Linux is not booted. [I haven't confirmed

Desktop Filesystem Benchmarks in 2.6.3
I don't think that XFS is a desktop filesystem at all. This is from XFS FAQ: qoute ------------ Q: Why do I see binary NULLS in some files after recovery when I unplugged the power? If it hurts don't do that! * NOTE: XFS 1.1 and kernels => 2.4.18 has the asynchronous delete path which means that you will see a lot less of these problems. If you still have not updated to...

Xen and Linux on Intel G33 needs kernel 2.6.19+
Dear, I''m looking to get Xen running on a system that (afterwards) seems a bit too new. The board has the Intel G33 chipset with the Intel ICH9 southbridge. This chipset is NOT supported by kernel 2.6.18 which ships with Xen 3.1.2 (and Debian Etch). So the question is: * What version of Xen to install to get going? Should I choose unstable? * What distribution will be the easiest to get

Opensolaris domU unable to get dhcp lease
I''m running a ubuntu 9.04 64 bit dom0 with kernel 2.6.29.6 and xen 3.4.0. My eth0 is bridged to br0 and to my guest VMs. The dom0 is running a dhcp server on br0 which is able to provide leases to physical machines on eth0, and also to a windows xp domU which is bridged to br0. However my open solaris 2009.6 domU is unable to obtain a dhcp lease. On the opensolaris side I can see this:

DB Modelling the Rails way - Opinions??
Hi, I''m trying to figure the most efficient way to model the following. I can think of at least two ways to relate the tables but from a client/server perspective! I''m wondering how to best (and elegantly)relate them from an AR perspective. A project has many people, A person can work on many projects at any time, A project has many roles, A role is performed by a person, A

PlusV
Hi, I haven't seen this mentioned here before. http://www.plusv.org/ "With traditional MP3, a typical Near CD Quality audio file has been encoded with a data rate of 128 kbits/s. While this is ok for people with big hard disks and fast Internet connections, this data speed has clearly been a bottleneck for people using modems or storing their music into 32 or 64 MB portable player

quotes within quotes
How does one put quotes within quotes, if it's possible? I've tried replacing one set of the quotes by single quotes. If it's not possible, is there any way to do the following? > cmd <- "read.dta" > opt <- "convert.factors=FALSE" > data.file <- " file="/full/path/name.dta" " > eval(call(cmd, data.file, opt)) Prior to

download.file does not process gz files correctly (truncates them?)
There was a hint in the Twitterverse that Excel has issues with line endings in .csv. Can anyone elaborate on that? 3.0.23 for Debian Sarge: LDAP problems
Hi, I always prefer the Samba packages for Debian-Stable from the Samba-Team and I never had a problem so far (thank you, Simo!). Yesterday I updated from 3.0.22 to 3.0.23 in my LDAP-based network. I updated samba.schema, added "index sambaSID eq,sub" to my slapd.conf and ran slapindex. When I started slapd and samba afterwards, I saw error messages like these (from smbd.log):
