selinux allow apache log access
Hey guys,.
I have a centos 7 machine I'm using as a zabbix server. And I noticed that
apache won't start, with this complaint in the error log:
(13)Permission denied: AH00091: httpd: could not open error log file
/var/log/zabbix_error_log.
AH00015: Unable to open logs
I tried having a look at audit2allow and this is the response I get back:

convert annual data to quarterly frequency
Hi,
I was wondering if there is a package I can use to convert my 22 annual observations to quarterly time series so that I will have 88 observations.
Also, will there be any harm in doing so? will I loose any important data specific info? I want to run VARs in levels using TY method. Due to small sample, i will probably use a bootstrap method.
Thanks!

I also did search using 'yum provides' to find something similar. But
wasn't' able to find anything.
yum provides "*/myzabbix.*"
...
No matches found
Maybe I'll need to install a package?
Thanks,
Tim

csimtest function in multcomp package
Hello all,
Quick question: I want to do posthoc contrasts for a linear mixed
effects model. However, when trying to use the csimtest function in
multcomp package I receive an error message saying it cannot find the
function, even after installing and loading package multcomp.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated

Our success story with samba4
Hi all,
This message is a testament to the great work samba team has done, but
its also an encouragement to those of you that still not sure if samba4
will work in your environment.
This semester we have moved from samba 3.0.X DC to samba4 DC for
students, and things are working great
The move was predominantly driven by switching from Windows XP to
Windows 7 desktop platform (but also by a

Any one with any ideas on where I progress from here with this? I seem
to have come to a road block.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

ext3 fsck question
Hi,
After our big ext3 file server crashes, I notice the fsck spends some time
replaying the journals (about 5-10 mins for all volumes on the server in
question). I guess it must do this should you want to mount the volumes as
ext2.
My question--is it (theoretically) possible to tell fsck only to replay
half-finished and to knock out incomplete transactions from the journals,
leaving the kernel

How to identify the two largest peaks in a trimodal distribution
Hello all
I'm trying to do a simulation that involves identifying the minimum
point between two peaks of a (usually) bimodal distribution. I can do
this easily if there are only two peaks:
CnBdens<-density(Ys/Xs) #probability density function for ratio of Ys
to Xs
for(p in 1:512) ifelse(CnBdens$y[p]>CnBdens$y[p-1],peak1<-p,break)
#identifies first peak in probability

converting stata's by syntax to R
I am struggling with migrating some stata code to R. I have a data
frame containing, sometimes, repeat observations (rows) of the same
family. I want to keep only one observation per family, selecting
that observation according to some other variable. An example data
frame is:
# construct example data
fam <- c(1,2,3,3,4,4,4)
wt <- c(1,1,0.6,0.4,0.4,0.4,0.2)
keep <- c(1,1,1,0,1,0,0)

there is a large amount of space between the label "X Label" and the
actual x-axis. If I change the xaxt="n" to xaxt="s", the label "X
