oplock_break: MS kb articles
I found these articles that talk about the oplock_break problem (specifically
they are related to problems with word97):
http://support.microsoft.com/support/ntserver/serviceware/nts40/e9msge2bc.asp
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q163/5/25.asp
Basically they say:
either apply sp3 on the winnt client or disable oplock on nt server
But they don't say anything about win9x, which is the platform I have problems
with!!! :(

Invalid key given to dptr_close / NT error 3013
...he NT machines get the error.
It happens on NT4 SP3 and SP4 clients where people use lots of
programs like office, pegasus, scheduler, access database all
shared from the server at once.
I tried playing with rdr registry values (as described in
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q163/4/01.asp), no luck.
So, has anybody stumbled across this problem? Is there a fix?
What's this dptr_close stuff for anyway?
If you need more information, please let me know.
Thanks a lot
Juergen

Win2k Printing Problems
I just joined this list, If this has been answered before I apologize:
I have a Redhat 7.2 box running Samba 2.2.4
I have a few printers running on JetDirect boxes that I am attempting
to print to.
I used printconf in Redhat to set them up within the linux box.
Everything works fine from the linux box.
I set them up within samba (see [printers] below), but when I print I
get "Failed to
