pxelinux problem (plus a fix proposal)
Hello I'm using the ISC-dhcp 3.0pl1 + pxe patch (from http://savannah.gnu.org/download/pxe-toolkit/) and pxelinux as the loader program. It turns out that in my configuration pxelinux specific DHCP options are sent out by the server encapsulated within vendor extension option (option 43, RFC 1533). syslinux efi configuration file name proposal
Goal: To have one USB drive capable of booting UEFI IA32 and UEFI X64 (with an optional Syslinux menu containing multiple entries). Problem (solved) #1: The default directory location for both syslinux.efi is the same. Solution #1: Rename each syslinux.efi to bootx64.efi and to bootia32.efi. PXELinux cannot load the config file
I have DHCP and TFTP on a Solaris machine, pxelinux.0 loads, but it can't load the configuration file. The tftp server on Solaris tries to send the file, but data transfers do not receive ACKs.
