Problems using log() in a plm() regression.
hey guys
I have a panel data set that i want to perform some regressions on. I am
using the /plm/ package.
I defined a model in the following way:
PWBw.pool <- plm(*PWB* ~ log(*I_EQON*) + log(*RD*) + ... + *PAGRI*,
data = pfem, na.action=na.exclude, model="pooling")
When i run this it gives the following error (the error remains when i use
other model = "" specifications like "within" or "random"):

Reducing the deleterious effects of ego related issues on the list: growing up individually.
Folks,
I *suggest* that little or no reply to this is warranted. It's just the
statements of an old fart trying to make a (slightly) better environment
for all of us. These thoughts are offered for consideration and use as
you see fit. For some, "Hey, that'll work for me too" is the hoped for
result. No discussion is intended or warranted, IMO.

R-beta: Mac version
...f the task is highly dependent on whether you know
your way around the Mac API to begin with. As for compilers, I have no
knowledge of the Mac platform, but in general freeware is preferred,
if it exists (and works!), because it enlarges the number of potential
bugfixers. (I saw something about the PWB being available freely from
Apple now).
I'll Cc: this one to R-devel too. If anyone there who actually know
what they're talking about (as opposed to me) re. Macs have anything
to add, please do.

This history might be that of a particular lineage. CB UNIX and PWB
UNIX existed in the gap between 1975 and 1979.
