OT - Avantages of ISDN PtP and PtmP
Hi, Reading http://www.asteriskguru.com/tutorials/bri.html , it seems PtP is the way to connect businesses but if you read http://public.swbell.net/ISDN/connect.html you would think the opposite. Can anyone elaborate a bit PtP or PtmP respective advantages ? Cheers -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: http://lists.digium.com/p...

I don't know if this is possible and I can't test it, because I don't have these lines yet. Is anybody out there, running such a configuration? I'm looking for some example configs. Especially I want to know how...

* & ISDN-BRI-PTP & DID & ISDN4Linux does not show incoming number
Hi, I am using Asterisk on a DSS1 ISDN-BRI with ISDN4Linux (and a Fritz Card PnP). The ISDN-BRI is in PTP-Mode (Point to Point "german: Anlagenanschluss") which is enabled within I4L with "hisaxctrl fcpcipnp0 7 1". Everything works fine except that I can not see the called number/MSN of incoming calls within Asterisk and because of this I can not route incoming calls directly to...

libpri and NT-Point to multi-point
Hi, At the moment, libpri /w Asterisk 1.6, Dahdi 2.1, is not supporting NT-Point to multi-point mode. Here (France), most small PBXes are connected to ISDN through BRI trunks in PtmP (don't know why but it seems the general case). So this NT-PtmP function would be very helpful to easily slide an Asterisk box between an existing PBX and the network. Does the same case apply elsewhere (UK,

chan_capi + mISDN + Fritz PTP
I'm now up&running with - mISDN with avmfritz driver for Fritz PCI card - chan_capi from debian recompiled with a patch (see below) - EuroISDN with Point-to-Point (ptp) mode (Austria) - With Asterisk 1.0.7-BRIstuffed-0.2.0-RC7k from debian sarge But am having some problems: 1) I needed to patch chan_capi.c from debian sarge (see below) to give the new channel to asterisk in state AST_STATE_RING instead of AST_STATE_DOWN. I just did the same for PTP as is d...

Florz patch for zaphfc
Has anyone had any success using the Florz patch for zaphfc ? I have a * system with 2 HFC cards which is working fine with 2 PTP ISDN lines however the users are complaining of crackles on the line which I am assuming is related to the IRQ issues raised by Florz. I have tried to use the patch but it errors trying to patch zaphfc.h Any help would be appreciated. Regards, Stuart -- No virus found in this outgoing message....
