Hi list,
I've installed C7 1511 (kernel 3.10.x) on a skylake mother board with

I know about skylake problems.
For the iGPU I've used i915.preliminary_support and ok.
Some days ago, I get different strange error on this machine. When
screensaver starts or when monitor will be in energy saving, if I try to
get access to the system I get different strange behaviour and can't

Package: xen-hypervisor-4.4-amd64
Version: 4.4.1-9+deb8u3
Severity: grave
Hello,
I am trying to install the XEN Hypervisor on a Debian Jessie Server.
When I am booting without the Hypervisor, everything works fine, but
when I am Booting WITH the XEN-Hypervisor, then System crashes /
reboots after the "Scrubbing Free RAM" Message without any
Error-message, just a blank screen.

Problem with GT520 and optimus on Fedora 17
Hello,
I have an Asus laptop, U36SD, with Optimus technology.
The discrete gpu is an NVIDIA GeForce GT 520M with 1GB DDR3 VRAM
Using Fedora 17; up to kernel 3.3.7-1 I was able to use bumblebee and
bbswitch and then running optirun command (as I could do in F16).
No more with kernel 3.4. Tried 3.4.0-1.fc17.x86_64,
3.4.2-4.fc17.x86_64 and 3.4.3-1.fc17.x86_64.
I already opened a bug against F17:

Centos 6.4 - doesnt power off with shutdown/poweroff cmd
Hello,
I'm looking for help figuring out why I am having problems with shutting
down a machine.
I have tested the machine using Fedora 19 and Ubuntu 12 Live CD's and both
power down without issues.
I added acpi.debug_level=1 to the grub boot as it was suggested to see more
info about ACPI in the logs
I found the following ACPI Errors in the /var/log/messages

So a new thinkpad:

[PATCH v4] pci: prevent putting nvidia GPUs into lower device states on certain intel bridges
anybody any other ideas? It seems that both patches don't really fix
the issue and I have no idea left on my side to try out. The only
thing left I could do to further investigate would be to reverse
engineer the Nvidia driver as they support runpm on Turing+ GPUs now,
but I've heard users having similar issues to the one Lyude told us
about... and I couldn't verify that the patches
