Is it possible to allow your Liunx box "see" your winbox, just like the winbox can "see" or browse the Linux box with Samba?

Is it possible to allow two Linux computers to browse each other in a manner similar to the way a winbox and browse a Linux box with Samba? Ya know, like the network neighborhood thing, not the smbclient get put thing? Thanks

Hello folks, I am running Samba 2.2.3a, on a RedHat 7.2 server. So far everything seems to be working fine. I can access shares, print from Windows clients, but I cannot change the password from the Win98 client. When I try, Windows tells me that the old password is incorrect. I am new to this so bear with me. I'm running Redhat 7.3 I downloaded Samba 2.2.7a-1 yesterday and installed it. After installing it I did the /etc/rc.d/init.d/smb stop and start but only the smbd showed up. Where is the nmbd and how do I get it to stop/start with smbd like the examples show? I can ping both machines both ways. net view \\RH7 doesn't work nor does net view \\192.168.1.3
