Promlem with broken yum/rpm
Hi all,
I have lost/corrupted the libraries related to the expat package. This has
caused rpm and yum to stop working effectively stopping my ability to manage
my server.
Recently a bug was reported by cmisare on the CentOS site that had exactly
the same symptoms http://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=3757
Btw rpm crashes with exactly the same message.
I was hoping that cmisare, or

Win98 filename promlems
Hi all!
I've got a problem.
I have a LAN with win98 and win2k clients.
Also I have Debian Linux with 2.4.7 kernel
with xfs built-in and Samba (currently 2.2.0a),
running on top of XFS as PDC, File-server and
so on.
The problem itself is I am using cyrillic
filenames. My Win2k clients are OK, they
all handle filenames properly. But Win98
clients can't open, delete or whatever files

samba and NT network
Hi Samba Team
I have a urgent problem. I have a Unix box that's running Samba Server, I
can see the Server on the NT network but when I try to access the share I
get the message:
"\\Samba is not accessible".
The network path was not found.
On the WINS Server I have a static mapping to the IP and I'm able to do a
ping from the Unix and to The NT network and from the NT box

Creating new voicemail accounts
I have googled this one to death, and can't find anything.
I added a number of new users to my asterisk (current CVS) system. I am
using the "Voicemail2" family.
I added entries in extensions.conf and voicemail.conf for my new users,
and I have tested leaving and retrieving new voicemails for them. All
of this works fine.
But if one of the new users tries to "Administer

NULL filled corrupt files
Hello!
I've seen, some people experienced this problem earlyer, but I have
not found any solution in the mailing lists...
So the problem is, copying files from an NT Workstation (SP5 )
on a Samba server running under Linux (2.0.10) in some (rare) cases
results in files exactly of the right size but filled with NULL bytes.
I'm using samba 2.0.5a and likely since version 2.0.0 this
