undefined method `time_zone=' on Rails 2.0.2.9129 on Mac OS X
I just did a gem update and it broke my rails application. I had to go back to 2.0.2, because 2.0.2.9129 produces this error on Mac OS X Leopard: /Users/nicholas/RubyDev/dummy/config/environment.rb:38: undefined method `time_zone='' for #<Rails::Configuration:0x12c9f24> (NoMethodError) from /Library/Ruby/Gems/1.8/gems/rails-2.0.2/lib/initializer.rb:47:in `run'' from

Bnid Dynamic Update not returnnig latest update
I have a zone that has several hosts update their ip with Dynamic DNS updates. This morning a client had updated its ip, but bind wasn't returning the new ip when queried until I restarted the daemon? Google hasn't yielded anything useful as I am prolly missing the boat with my search criteria. Anyone got any clues/pointers about this issue? Thanks, jlc

chan_agent MOH was (Re: CVS Error 2003-06-19)
Yea, I have faked that with a silent mp3, but to do it right it should also be a config flag in the agent.conf file for each agent, prolly add another arg to each agent definition for the MOH class, & the arg 'none' means don't play music for that agent -----Original Message----- From: James Golovich <james@wwnet.net> To: asterisk-users@lists.digium.com <asterisk-users@lists.digium.com> Date: June 18, 20...

...al numbers/etc. The makefile for the fxo_test program needs a bit of work, but its pretty easy to do. I added some other features to it, so at some point I may make it a bit more interesting :) Unfortunately that particular driver only seems to support the X100/X101 cards, so the larger cards will prolly have to wait, but it is a start in the right direction. Building asterisk is a PITA due to the lack of anyone fixing pwlib, lots of asterisk's dependencies depend on pwlib. Someone should prolly fix this as there have been patches out for quite a while now. If I get bored enough, I'll do i...

OpenVPN forwarding?
I am looking at terminating a OpenVPN tunnel on my shorewall box, but selectivly forward incoming traffic from the VPN tunnel to various hosts on my LOC-zone. Is this doable? Or need I set up OpenVPN tunnels that terminates on the LOC-hosts in question directly? (Or rather: Which page on the web site have I neglected to read _this_ time?) Happy new year to one and all! .

VMWare Sandbox
I need to experiment with ldap for a site I manage, and wondered if vmware would be a good way to go for some testing. My current server is RHEL3, which is getting dated, and I think that I should refresh this server entirely in the move to ldap. We need to have an ldap server for publishing email addresses for a VPN for a nursing home that the upstream can harvest and we can browse to send
