Probelms with patching EXT-3
Hello anybody,
I have a Suse 7.2 Linux with Kernel 2.4.9, which is compiled by myself,
and is running stable.
Now I try to patch my sourcecode in the way you write on your homepage.
But thier are two Proglems:
1. When I download the the file "ext3-2.4-0.9.6-249.gz" with my Windows,
I get no packedfile, I get a Textfile?!
-so gunzip would not work.
2. never the less, I tried to patch with this file, Ithink that the
Patch is correkt - if you want, I can send you the messages the

Linux can't telnet to WFW 3.11
My server is RH 5.2 and i use Samba 1.9.18p10 and the client use WFW 3.11 with
tcp/ip protocols installed. The subnet and the IP Address is right but I still
only telnet form WFW 3.11 to Linux...not the reverse. On Linux telnet is
working. I've checked it through this cmdline "telnet localhost 23 or telnet
127.0.0.1" . And I also testparm smb.conf and nothing wrong happen. FYI I set

Wine crashes, debug info included
Hello, I'm running microfocus acuthin.exe with wine. The program crashes every time i do a certain action involving a grid element in cobol.
I'm no programmer, can't understand what the debugger is trying to say.
Can anyone make sense of it?
Can I replace a dll or something? Or configure wine?
Please ask questions if something is missing.
