Dear R-Users, I created the xyplot below using 10 groups (9 groups + 'Total' of all groups) with lty=1:10. I need the 'Total' to be a bold solid line (lty=1) where as the 9 groups just need to be distinguishable from each other. As you can probably see, when the group reaches CRA6 the lty starts from 1 again. I have tried to specify ten unique lines using lty=

No, FFMPEG uses its own FLAC encoder/decoder, based on Flake source code, that based on FLAC reference encoder/decoder source code. Yes, I agree that "optimal"? values for reference encoder/decoder may differ "optimal"? values for FFMPEG's encoder/decoder. For those who are interested, I've run 3 EAQUAL tests on both the LAME and OGG encoders: LAME with the --alt-standard preset (with and without --nspsytune) and OGGENC (RC3) with -q 6 (my personal "sweet spot") I am somewhat unsure though about the validity of these tests, since the original and decoded files were not the same size (2 KB difference). Flake, another FLAC-encoders can use variable block length and has a algorithm to decide the length, but this is outside of the -0 to -8 presets, as these are all fixed block length.
