After exporting successfully to tdbsam and setting passdb backend = tdbsam in smb.conf if I change from inside a windows xp machine the password ot the user and then pdbedit-Lv user I get Logon time: 0 Logoff time: ven, 13 dic 1901 21:45:51 GMT Kickoff time:

Enabling easier contributions to rsync
I've decided to give hosting it on github a try, especially since there's been a lot of nice contributions lately. Hopefully this will make it easier for both the people sending patches as well as for me to snag the changes. I'll continue to push changes to the samba git as well. Here's the new repo: https://github.com/WayneD/rsync Feel free to open issues there, but we

R-beta: new executable
I have just put up a new executable as a replacement for the one in rseptbeta.zip there have only been a few changes; mostly to the menu's. Watch for my reports on the list, you may be able to implement what I've done

rsync client for Chrome OS?
Hi, hey android allows execution of _legacy_ static binary programs, via unpacking of binary as asset, then chmod ing it properly and finally running it through a system call [from e.g. the Java userland of a vanilla android application package].
