[PATCH 0/3] drm/tegra: Add support for fence FDs
From: Thierry Reding <treding at nvidia.com> This set of patches adds support for fences to Tegra DRM and complements the fence FD support for Nouveau. Technically this isn't necessary for a fence-based synchronization loop with Nouveau because the KMS core takes care of all that, but engines behind host1x can use the IOCTL extensions provided here to emit fence FDs that in turn can be

[PATCH 1/3] gpu: host1x: Add support for DMA fences
From: Mikko Perttunen <mperttunen at nvidia.com> Add an implementation of DMA fences backed by Host1x syncpoints, an interface to specify a prefence for job submissions. Before submission, prefences containing only Host1x syncpoints are waited by pushing wait commands to CDMA, whereas other fences are CPU-waited. [PATCH 0/6] drm/nouveau: Support sync FDs and sync objects
From: Thierry Reding <treding at nvidia.com> Hi, This series implements a new IOCTL to submit push buffers that can optionally return a sync FD or sync object to userspace. This is useful in cases where userspace wants to synchronize operations between the GPU and another driver (such as KMS for display). Among other things this allows extensions such as eglDupNativeFenceFDANDROID to be

[PATCH 0/3] drm/nouveau: Add support for fence FDs
From: Thierry Reding <treding at nvidia.com> This small series of patches implements support for waiting on and emitting fence FDs on kickoff. This enables explicit fencing and can be used for example to synchronize buffer accesses between the display engine and the GPU on Tegra. The first patch lays the groundwork by splitting up nouveau_fence_sync() to allow reuse. Patch 2 is where the

Yeah, the obvious advantage here is that this is totally trivial to implement both in the kernel and in userspace. Extending it to an array requires introduction of an extra structure (for a <fence...

Aquamacs Preferences not showing, windows inaccessible, Scrolling not possible !!!
Hi, sorry for bothering, but I suspect the start of M-x R within Aquamacs is causing my problems: *Scrolling* is *not possible*, neither by key stroke nor by mouse. Aquamacs does not show all windows. 'Prefences', 'About A.', 'Check fo updates' will not open. Menu 'windows' shows several windows, but clicking on them will not open their buffers. Also, reinstallation of Aquamacs-2.4 (the newest version) did not help. What can I do? Christian -- Christian W. Hoffmann, CH -...

Yum Weird Message
I ran into this exact issue last night - http://www.iotti.biz/?p=433 When a computer is connected via IPv4 but the IPv4 a repo host connects to is not available, yum then tries the IPv6 address and will fail with a confusing message telling you it failed to connect to the IPv6 address. I don't know if there is a way for yum to figure out whether the current network connection to the

Starting a Local CentOS Mirror
Hi all, I would like to set up a local CentOS mirror, as suggested by others on this list, to cut down on bandwidth usage, etc. I have read a couple HowTos and it seems pretty straight-forward, but I do have some questions. 1) How should I change my entries in /etc/yum.repos.d? Specifically, should I replace CentOS-Base.repo with my own .repo file? 2) Is there a way to configure yum to prefer

Unable to mount SMB shares under Mac OS 10.6.5

Successive attempts to mount a share, using Finder results in additional mount points in the /Volumes directory (Public-1, Public-2, Public-3, etc), but no folder icons on my desktop. FYI: The 'Connected servers' setting (under 'Shared') is enabled in my Finder's Prefences (along with Bonjour and Back to My Mac), so connected shares should appear on the desktop. Attempts to mount shares using the Connect to Server method (smb://10.0.1.2/Public, smb://admin:admin at 10.0.1.2/Public) also fail. No folder appears on desktop. The password/login authenticates (connecti...
