Can someone explain to me the mechanizm that Samba uses to relate Machines to Users? I am trying to set up a Samba-LDAP PDC and it seems to work OK but I get "No mapping between account names and security IDs was done." Hello I hope someone can help me out. I have setup samba Version 3.0.0 to work with LDAP and winbind. I can join the domain with a Win2k client but if I try to login it fails. When I try to view the users of the domain I can't but I can see the groups from the Win2k client.
