Info - Adit 600 console password reset
Just an FYI, I noticed some people not being able to use the CLI of their adit 600's because of a set password. You can erase the configuration of the adit 600 by setting the RST dip switch to on, powercycling the box, waiting until it finishes coming up, setting it back to off, and powercycling again. -Joe

Filesystem returned to state of six months ago after fsck
Recently our sysadm accidentally powercycled our server (RedHat8) after 198 days of uptime, and upon boot it insisted on checking one partition (/dev/sda7) in our RAID. When it was done, the files were in the state of August 23 last year, with anything newer either gone or invisible. I guess something went wrong with journaling data. What can...

corrupted indexes rebuilding over and over
Hi, On saturday one of our dovecot machines had an OOPS, and we had to powercycle it. When it came up, it did a filesystem fsck (ext4) and fixed a couple things, but nothing in lost+found. Now, about 50 users have a problem where their indexes are corrupted. Dovecot tries to fix them, but for some reason it is failing. The users are seeing their mails duplicated and they cannot delete mails. I

Anyone know of a pass through ATA
Anyone know of a company that makes a pass through ATA? By pass through I mean have an Ethernet switch built into the ATA, like most desktop phones have. All of the dual ethernet ATA's I have seen have WAN/LAN ports, not two LAN ports. I fooled around with DMZ etc...but it just doesn't work as well. corrupted indexes rebuilding over and over
Hi, we had the same problem after a system failure. Our problem could be solved by rm /PATH/USER/mdbox/storage/dovecot.map.index* doveadm -D -v force-resync -u USER INBOX Best regards, Gordon On 05.06.2017 18:34, micah wrote: > > Hi, > > On saturday one of our dovecot machines had an OOPS, and we had to > powercycle it. Budgetone problem
Hey guys, I have a problem with my BudgeTone. It ignores calls after being online with my asterisk server for an extended period of time. I know this problem has been posted on this list before. Honestly, I searched the archives but couldn't find the previous posts. Was there ever a solution to this problem ? My firmware version is the latest: 1.0.5.11. Once again, I apologize for posting

Help with Digium TE210P, TDM400P card in Dell PE830
Hi all, My asterisk (1.2.4, zaptel 1.2.2) running in Dell PowerEdge 830 box is having problems with Digium TE210P card that I use for PRI connection. My problem is stability. Sometimes the box just boots OK with a full functionality, no problems at all, sometimes (after power outage) it halts during boot with the amber control LED flashing. Sometimes (most frequent scenario) it just boots OK and

Linux+samba problems
Hi, A few weeks ago we replaced our Alpha with Tru64 UNIX and samba with a Compaq Proliant ML370, running RedHat 7.3 and Samba 2.2.7. We have about 1000 clients connecting to the samba shares, with max. about 500 at any time. The clients are running windows 95, 98, NT4 and 2000. Now the problem: from time to time the server 'hangs'. It's still pingable. If I use telnet I do get a

XenServer iSCSI / VDI Not Found
...ost that is having issues. Last night we attempted a snapshot on a VM that is critical to our infrastructure. During the snapshot, the task locked up and was unable to progress or stop the snapshot. I attempted to force the VM to stop as well as destroy it''s domain. As a last resort I had powercycled the host. Upon bringing the host online again the LUNs failed to mount properly on both of the hosts in the same cluster, entering a "Broken" state where they were listed as "unplugged" (two LUNs). This of course prevented the VMs from starting and we received a "VDI Not F...

HP Blade Gen 7 and 8 IO stall with ciss driver
hello Since a while we're experiencing completely I/O stalls / stopps with some HP Blade Hardware and FreeBDS 9.1. If it occurs, we have to power cycle the server to recover. The stalls occur only every few days to weeks, so it's difficult to reproduce them; we also tried to do a lot of I/O (e.g. scrubbing nonstop) but this didn't help to reproduce more often; taking load away from

IAXy
Not sure if this is the best place but does any one have any used IAXy's they are interested in selling? I am looking to pick one up cheap for a proof of concept before going all out on them. Also does any one have any real life practical experience with how well (or not so well) that these devices have worked for them? you can reply to me off list at asterisk@matraex.com Thanks Michael

Yes yes, i remember you :-) , and i have no problem with direct messages. How are you doing? I'll reply to the list with a CC for you. Because this involves samba also. And this might help

Polycom MWI's will not turn off

I have tried to upgrade to 1.4.14 and all different SIP versions on the Polycoms. I am now at 1.6.7 Here is the SIP Message that turns on the lights: Scheduling destruction of SIP dialog '

OT: remote power cycling
I'm in a situation where I'm going to have to deploy a rack of servers in an unmanned location in another country. On rare occasions, I've had systems that would not recover gracefully from a warm reboot and needed the power cycled. Years ago, I had such a device from APC, but haven't needed one in a long time since all my locations are staffed. I'd welcome any
