export 4D data as povray density files
Dear list,
I wish to visualise some 4D data as a kind of colour / translucent
cloud in 3D. I haven't seen such plots in R (but perhaps I missed a
feature of rgl). The easiest option I found would be to export the
data in povray's df3 (density file) format and visualise it with
povray.
The format specification baffles me a little,

I'm using LLVM 2.2 and trying to run the external povray test. The LLVM
Test Suite Guide (http://llvm.org/releases/2.2/docs/TestingGuide.html)
Indicates that configuring with "--enable-povray=directory" will do the
trick. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to work. Poking around the config

double the threshold for loop fully unroller. This will change the codegen

Identifying where these were introduced is quite difficult. I wonder if some of the buildbots could be persuaded, after building clang, to build and run some benchmark projects (e.g. perlbench, povray, flac / lame, whatever) and email people if they introduce a performance regression, just as the current buildbots email people who break the build.

[LLVMdev] LLVM 2.9 Fails to Compile some CPU2006 Benchmarks on X86

and are getting compile-time errors on the gamess and tonto benchmarks.
For the native x86-32 target, we are using the following command-line arguments:
-O3 -march=core2 -mtune=core2 -m32
and are getting compile-time errors on gamess and tonto as well as run-time errors on gcc, cactus and povray.
Are these known errors?
If yes, are there any patches that fix them?
Are there any patches for LLVM 2.9 at all?
If yes, where can I find them?

[LLVMdev] Error running spec benchmark with FMA4 on X86
Hi All,
I am facing miscompare error when running povray (and few other C/C++
benchmarks) from spec cpu2006 suite enabling FMA4 (and disabling FMA3). I
have used -ffp-contract=fast to turn on this option. (Compilation options
