Samba with revalidate, posibile bug!
Hello Samba experts,
I have a simple problem: i tried to use according to ch06_03.html manual
page, directive revalidate in smb.conf config file.
In smb.conf, i use directive security = share, but for a particular
share (grant aces with user and pass) i want to use revalidate = yes
option. The problem is that this feature is not working!

Automaticaly create User-Home directories for NFS
Hello, I have a problem with my Samba4 AD-Controller and NFS. We want to
distribute a NFS-Share for our home directory. The problem is that the
client is trying to create it on the fly for the first user login but
you get 'Permission denied' because of the root_spuash option of the
NFS-Server. My question: Is there any posibillity that the normal home
directory is created after adding

Question on Merge/Lookup

would use df3, look up the characteristics of each date in df1 and the value
for each observation in df2.
df1 - unique list of Dates and characteristics of those dates
Date, YYYYMM, YYYYWW, DOW
df2 - the raw data
Date, Place, Value
df3 - all posibile combinations of Date + Place (via
expand.grid(unique(df2$Date),unique(df2$Place))
Date, Place
I need to end up with:
Date, YYYYMM, YYYYWW, DOW, PLace, Value (plug 0 if combo doesn't exist in
raw data).
Appreciate any help!

Some users cannot read mail: assertion failed
Hi all!
I am a recent user of dovecot. First of all, the migration from UW-IMAP was definitely
worth it. But now I've run into some troubles. Two of my users complain that they
can't read their Inboxes, but other folders work fine. The error message I get in the
