FW: Network Magazine 04/04/04 Article pg 19 (Free IP Telephony PBXs?)
The networkmag@cmp.com appears to be broken. I dug around the magazine contacts and found Doug Allen, senior editor, you can send comments to dallen2@cmp.com . I didn't get a bounce back from that e-mail so I assume it made it to the editor. JR

An 'orrible question: Outlook 365 under wine on CentOS?

I may look into it, in my copious spare time. <g> Since I posted, they migrated us, and I've used the Outlook webmail. Pardon me while I go worship the porcelain throne. They *did* disable IMAP. [PULL] virtio: fixes, tests
...I thought it was a Junio-only use case (it's been around forever as a command line option, but the config file entry seems to be somewhat recent and I wasn't even aware of it). Adding Junio just as background to see what he thinks. Looks like the diff.orderfile config option hits not just porcelain, but plumbing too. Linus

...printf "%-24s %s\n" (s_"OS version:") name; Oops, I suck, I just realized now that this string change broke test-virt-builder-list.sh, patch fixing it coming in a moment. Sorry for this. OTOH, that makes me think whether virt-builder shouldn't have some kind of porcelain/XML/JSON/CSV/etc output for --list to ease its parsing, as it could be translated and changed anytime (like done above). Facter not initialized in rspec in puppetlabs-stdlib?
I have been working on adding some predicate functions to puppetlabs-stdlib that test things based on ''interfaces'' and related facts. The functions themselves seem to work fine in my manifest-based smoketests, but I am running into trouble that may or may not be due to my ignorance about rspec or Facter. Something needs to be done to initialize Facter because

An 'orrible question: Outlook 365 under wine on CentOS?
Either CentOS 6 or 7 - anyone know if it's possible? Upper Management has decided on a policy that IMAP is going to go away in the near future, and they want everyone on Lookout, sorry, Outlook 365. mark, VMNH* * Very Much Not Happy

Report of collision-generation with MD5
Just got a pointer to this via ACM "TechNews Alert" for today: http://www.acm.org/technews/articles/2004-6/0818w.html#item2 Seems that "... French computer scientist Antoine Joux reported on Aug. 12 his discovery of a flaw in the MD5 algorithm, which is often used with digital signatures...." There's more in the article cited above.
