pokerstars installed under wine and started, now i wanted to test it. I'm used to play only fixed limit, so i tried to set up the filter. I found out, it's not possible to restrict the games to fixed limit. Actually, i had intended to attach two screenshots to this message but i didn't find out...

I have installed wine 1.1.13 on Debian 4.0. I can run the PokerStarsInstall.exe just fine. Poker Stars works fine but I do not get any icon. Then when I close out Poker Stars, the only way I can run it again is to run PokerStarsInstall.exe. No other .exe files do anything. Any suggestions would be great! Thank you!!

Hi guys, I'm new in wine debugging, but i need to get content of textbox to console. I tried Code: WINEDEBUG=+edit ./app.exe 2>&1 It gets content of lineedit, but not textedit. Do you have some idea how read content of textbox from win app in wine? Thanks

what windows apps do you need to keep? WINE emulates a windows directory structure that allows you to install some windows apps to that location. I only use this for pokerstars VMWare emulates the windows operating system environment. I have not used this in linux but you should be able to install an windows app in the vmware instance of window virtualbox - i have not used this
