libata and PMP (Port Multiplier) support in CentOS
...ve been trying to pin down whether or not CentOS will see
all 12 drives, and I haven't seen anything that is definitive. I see
that the kernel module sata_sil24 supports the SiI3124 chip on the NORCO
4618 card, but I haven't found whether or not the default kernel will
support the SiI3726 (PMP) without the libata-tj patch.
I'm just trying to determine the easiest route to go with minimal cost.
I've found another enclosure that uses 4 mini-SAS connectors, but in
addition to the extra $320 for the enclosure, I'd need to buy a $300
card and at least one $120 cable (either SFF-8...

ISDN (point to point) questions
...ombination with the CID.
That's why we want to replace all our phones (8) with voip ones (or by
using a fxs's)
Reading all information i assume the following
- we need a ACTIVE ISDN card; these are 5/6 times more expensif that
passive ones.
I always assumed there was only PPP and PMP; but it seems -
reading the specs of the av. isdn card - that there is also
multilink PPP. Will a multilink PPP also support a PPP; or is
this just a other way to describe a PMP ?
- how can i checke the number that is being dialed by the caller to

Simplest OS possible?
...d.
I have looked at Minix, but it is not fully supported. I need something
small, lightweight (doesn''t have to be multi-threaded or anything), that
will run small C and Assembler programs that I can use to rum some tests.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to extract year, Quarter, week, from a date column in a data
