Duplicate packets when using aggregate datalinks on bge
I opened a bug report earlier today but it doesn''t seem to have been added to the bugs database. I''m posting here in case one of the Crossbow developers might see it and confirm this behavior. Description Duplicate packets are generated whenever an aggregate is introduced into the network configuration. We''ve ruled out switch ports and physical bge interfaces as

A few questions: Tweaking StemFilter, indexes, ...
...ntext of the content of my application. I have created an analyzer using the following: StemFilter.new StopFilter.new( LowerCaseFilter.new(StandardTokenizer.new(text)), @stop_words ) This has been pretty good so far, however, I really would like to get a search for "plumber" match "plumbing" at maybe a lower score than it would match "plumbers". The thing is that plumber(s) is filtered to "plumber" and plumbing is filtered to plumb, so it doesn''t match. Is there any way to tweak the filter to be able to do these matches? I would like to match all noun...

IP Instances with VLAN''s
Hi, how can ip instances be used with vlans ? Is that possible ? I don''t know how to configure this, if I only have one interface (e.g. bge0), and want to assign e.g. bge1000 to a zone. Any cookbooks available ? Thanks Detlef

snoop, vnics and ping.
So, just to play with vnics with 106, I have... e1000g2 plumb''d with 192.168.85.10 vnic0 is created on top of e1000g2 with 192.168.85.22 I snoop on e1000g2 to see the traffic. I ping 192.168.85.22 and it works. I stop the snoop on e1000g2. I ping 192.168.85.22 and it doesn''t work. I start the snoop on e1000g2. I ping 192.168.85.22 and ping works. GPOs, sysvol and such related plumbing
Hi Miguel, I have been using Samba AD DC 4.9.1 for a little bit 6 months now. Very stable. Never heard of any stability problems concerning GPOs. There are no problems with GPOs, but as I found out, you must give the GPO changes time to take effect (30 minutes). I haven't found out how to force GPO updates under Samba yet, but that's probably due to my lack of time and inherent

GPOs, sysvol and such related plumbing
Who am I to say this? I am only a lowly user and would-be admin, but it seems to me that one of the most useful features of an AD environment, GPOs, is not fully trust-able under Samba because of instability and ensuing fear, before and after each update, related to sysvol and who knows what. I still love you, though.

[rfc][patch][linux] ioctl32() compat plumbing for xen calls

Solaris 10 FW/IPF in a Open Solaris dom/U?
...ile/mail server for the local lan. What I''d like to do is UFS dump the OS images into xVM images and connect them up with the same network topology. I have enough hardware to put 6 ethernets into the new box. So my questions are: 1) Can I dedicate an interface to an xVM instance without plumbing an IP on the host Sol 11 box such that I can run IPFilter in xVM as a FW and not have that interface used as an attack vector to the host? I would then dedicate 3 interfaces to xVM instances. 2 interfaces to the first Solaris 10 instance, 1 for the connection to the Internet, and the other to a c...

problems trying the "getting started" demo
I have installed on a VirtualBox vm the crossbow ISO Now I''m trying to create the network map described in the "getting started" pdf I have this situation: On global zone, I have the real NIC: e1000g0 with ip 10.0.2.15 (VirtualBox NAT this IP, I can get web access with it) I have created an etherstub (etherstub n?2) with 2 vnics (vnic5 and vnic6), I''ve plumbed

VLAN tagged interfaces in zones
Hi, I''m trying to work out a solution for multiple zones with exclusive IP stacks, and existing on the same VLAN. For example, I have 3 zones on the same subnet (lets say 10.10.10.0/24), and want to put them in the same VLAN (let''s say 20). If they weren''t zones, I would plumb up e1000g20000 or equiv on each and off we go, but with zones and exclusive IP stack, I

Testing IP Instances in 62 on vmware
The network fails for the zone when i try to setup it with ip-type exclusive. Its on a vmware server 1.0.2 using a emulated e1000g, this is the only current way i have got to test it with :( Any ideas on how to find out what the problem is? Is it that the emulation done by vmware can''t do this? I think it would be useful for this to work in vmware, as you can add many virtual nics to

creating a vnic to represent the factory MAC address
How do I create a vnic that represents the factory assigned MAC address of my physical nic? The bge device in my system (x2100) appears to support 4 MAC addresses. The driver reserves the first as the ''primary/default'' address and allows manipulation of the other three via the MAC_CAPAB_MULTIADDRESS interface. I''d like to use vnics on this system, as I have Xen guest

[RFC] Moving tools/llvm-mca/lib into lib/MCA
...y in LLVM. llvm-mca has recently been split <https://bugs.llvm.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37696> into its core part and the tool part. - The core part simulates the execution of a basic block of machine instructions as modeled by the llvm SchedModel. - The tool part deals with the plumbing and interacting with the user. The core part can be used by parts of LLVM that deal with cost modeling (e.g. scheduling and vectorization). MCA provides a more realistic target for optimization than the heuristics typically used to drive these passes. We think that using approaches based on fine-...
