Hi Ivailo The problem with an embedded CUE sheet is that this requires 2 preconditions. 1 - that the FLAC files are taken from an Audio CD, and 2 - that a drive is used such as a Plextor that can manage to do this properly. Hi. I need to install DVD writers in a CentOS box as part of a backup setup. I want as little fuss as possible both with HW recognition and functionality. Can any of you recommend a vendor/product ? List, Are Sata DVD drives/recorders supported in CentOS, and if so, what needs to be done to read/write to them. On my initial install, the machine would boot from the drive, but I wound up having to use a regular ide cd-rom drive to do the install. The drive in question is a Plextor 716. Ubuntu itself correctly identifies the CD drives, and the Audio CDs. The CD-Rom-Drives are internal ATAPI drives, and external Plextor drives connected via firewire. If I put _data_ CDs into those drives and mount them, winecfg sees all these drives (even the external ones). So accessing data CDs via WINE does work.
