Fw: [digium.com #12961] T100P as bandwidth
Even though they make the cards and advertise that they support data modes,
digium won't support data mode on the $500 card they sold to me, so I must
turn to the list.
Has anyone configured a T100P to use a T1 strictly as bandwidth? Is there a
HOWTO somewhere? Wiki has nothing I could find. I've got plently of public
IPs I can assign to it but don't know how.
Thanks,
Matthew

Creating a contended section of bandwidth with HTB and IMQ
Hi All,
I''m trying to create a contended section of bandwidth using IMQ. I have the
imq0 device up and running, with traffic passing through it.
Firstly, I need to throttle the entire device imq0 to 2mbit/s.
I would then like to add throttle rules for individual IP addresses, allowing
them to pass up to 512kbit/s each, as long as imq0 has not reached its
2mbit/s.
The configuration

Access 2003 printing?
Has anybody found a fix for the Access 2003 printing? I've got a
couple of work arounds but neither is a good long term solution.
1) Set the default printer to something other then a Samba print queue.
2) Map the Samba print queue to a dos LPT port.
Thanks,
Derek

Random Effects for One-Way Anova
Hello to All.
I'd want to use a one-way ANOVA. This means that I have only one factor, with,
lets say, 5 levels.
I made a dataframe, called "DATA", with two Columns:
A, that is my response, and it is "class numerical".
B, that defines the different levels of my factor, and it is "class factor".
If I want to use a fixed effect model,
I know that the formula I have

Thanks Simon,
I will take note of the sensible default for core usage. I?m trying to achieve small scale parallelism, where tasks take 1-5 seconds and make fuller use of consumer hardware. Its not a HPC-worthy computation but even laptops these days come with 4 cores and I don?t see a reason to not make use of it.
The goal for the current piece of code I?m working on is to bootstrap many

thanks for the input. It gives me hope to dig deeper! I have some more
time to spend on this issue today, I gonna try some more scenario.

Dedicated server running ESXi with no RAID card, ZFS for storage?
Morning all...
I have a Dedicated server in a data center in Germany, and it has 2 3TB
drives, but only software RAID. I have got them to install VMWare ESXi and
so far everything is going ok... I have the 2 drives as standard data
stores...
But i am paranoid... So, i installed Nexenta as a VM, gave it a small disk
to boot off and 2 1Tb disks on separate physical drives... I have created a
