Fw: [digium.com #12961] T100P as bandwidth
...they make the cards and advertise that they support data modes, digium won't support data mode on the $500 card they sold to me, so I must turn to the list. Has anyone configured a T100P to use a T1 strictly as bandwidth? Is there a HOWTO somewhere? Wiki has nothing I could find. I've got plently of public IPs I can assign to it but don't know how. Creating a contended section of bandwidth with HTB and IMQ
...it tc qdisc add dev imq0 parent 20 handle 20: sfq tc filter add dev imq0 protocol ip parent 1: prio 20 u32 \ match ip src 10.0.0.20/32 flowid 1:20 Both IP addresses (10.0.0.10 and 10.0.0.20) aquire their 512kbit/s without problem. However, when I add more classes like the ones above and pass plently of traffic, each IP address still obtains its full 512kbit/s - regardless of the 2mbit/s limit in the root class. Is there a way to achieve this? Thanks in advance, Charlie

Access 2003 printing?
Has anybody found a fix for the Access 2003 printing? I've got a couple of work arounds but neither is a good long term solution. 1) Set the default printer to something other then a Samba print queue. 2) Map the Samba print queue to a dos LPT port. Thanks, Derek To boldly go where I surely don't belong. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...

rodc and KRB_TGS_REQ forwarding to RWDC to access hub ressources
...ry frustrating. I didn't had time to dig more in this issue last week. Just trying a wild guess : I have a few DCs with the same samba name on my test LAN (but in different domain of course), so there might have been some NetBIOS name collision issues arising. Anyway, this week I will have plently of time to spend on that subject, so I hope I may come back with more information. > > One other thing is that we generally recommend against .LOCAL domains > although I would have no idea if this was actually causing any issues > (at least without any further evidence). Random Effects for One-Way Anova
Hello to All. I'd want to use a one-way ANOVA. This means that I have only one factor, with, lets say, 5 levels. I made a dataframe, called "DATA", with two Columns: A, that is my response, and it is "class numerical". B, that defines the different levels of my factor, and it is "class factor". If I want to use a fixed effect model, I know that the formula I have

mclapply returns NULLs on MacOS when running GAM
...d MPI cluster but the framework support others. The 'foreach' framework takes this separation of *what* to parallelize (which you decide as a developer) and *how* to parallel (which the end-user decides) further by so called foreach adaptors aka parallel backends. With foreach, users have plently of doNnn packages to pick from, doMC, doParallel, doMPI, doSnow, doRedis, and doFuture. Several of these parallel backends build on top of the core functions provided by the 'parallel' package. So, with foreach your users can use forked parallel processing if they want and, or something e...

mclapply returns NULLs on MacOS when running GAM
Thanks Simon, I will take note of the sensible default for core usage. I?m trying to achieve small scale parallelism, where tasks take 1-5 seconds and make fuller use of consumer hardware. Its not a HPC-worthy computation but even laptops these days come with 4 cores and I don?t see a reason to not make use of it. The goal for the current piece of code I?m working on is to bootstrap many

rodc and KRB_TGS_REQ forwarding to RWDC to access hub ressources
Hi Garming, > As far I know, all this should work as you would expect. Quite recently, > Andrew Bartlett and I went about testing some of the behaviour of the > KDC and confirming behaviour such as RODC ticket forwarding. thanks for the input. It gives me hope to dig deeper! I have some more time to spend on this issue today, I gonna try some more scenario. > The one thing to check

Dedicated server running ESXi with no RAID card, ZFS for storage?
Morning all... I have a Dedicated server in a data center in Germany, and it has 2 3TB drives, but only software RAID. I have got them to install VMWare ESXi and so far everything is going ok... I have the 2 drives as standard data stores... But i am paranoid... So, i installed Nexenta as a VM, gave it a small disk to boot off and 2 1Tb disks on separate physical drives... I have created a
