Logitech G11 keyboard and wine
Hi, I've been reading this list for a while, and now I've got an issue of my own. A week or two ago, I got myself a logitech G11 keyboard, mainly for the extra buttons. It's working fine on windows, and in linux with g15daemon, but I'm having trouble getting the extra keys (G1-G18) it to work in wine. I've searched around on the internet, but most I managed to find is

"User's $HOME/.dmrc file is being ignored" after compilation
Each time I compile Wine and restart Ubuntu (8.04), there's an error just after I log in: "User's $HOME/.dmrc file is being ignored. This prevents the default session and language from being saved. File should be owned by user and have 644 permissions. User's $HOME directory must be owned by user and not writable by other users." These commands fix this, but when I

Forum <=> list interaction bug?
...ailing list side myself. With that thread, I haven't seen the original post, and all replies from forum users appear as new threads in my client (Thunderbird). The posts in question don't have 'In-Reply-To' and 'References' headers. Does anyone know what's going on? PleegWat

In WineXO, how to change drive_c location?
Hi, people! Because XO-1 has a little "disk" space, it will be nice if the location of drive_c can be moved to a SD card. Here in Uruguay, we do not have root permissions in our XO-1. We log in as user olpc an can change permissions only in some directories. And can create links to files but not hard links to directories. The SD card is mounted in /media/label_of_sd_card. I appreciate

[SUGGESTION] WINE, autodisable/ask to disable PulseAudio
Since PulseAudio causes much trouble alot, why not make WINE to either 1) autodisable 2) ask to disablePulseAudio when running something ? By my understanding if this would be implemented, either of the following is done: 1) When executing wine theprogramname.exe it first calls to WINE, which then query the system for PA. Then if PA is found, WINE adds padsp to the commandline and continues

Wine and WoW Cataclysm Patch 4.0 troubleshooting thread
Hello, The WoW 4.0 Cataclysm patch landed today, and there's bound to be lots of questions about getting it running in wine. My current status is that I've downloaded the patch and installed it. I've got the new (original WoW) login screen graphic. Once I login, I see a new character background and then a "downloading update" message. Wine crashes moments later.
