...llowing allot of advice I can't get them to provision from a dhcp boot server. We have a sonicwall router in place. I can press setup and set the FTP boot server to my * box. From there th phones boot fine. But I cannot get them to autoprovision. I have tried dhcp option 66=ipaddres. 66=FTP://PlcmSpIp:PlcmSpIp at 192.168.1.1/ u ahve also tried options 129, 150, 160, etc. I realise that this is not an asterisk issue. But does anyone have any experience on this (particularly using sonicwall routers for Dhcp)?

It -does- try to d/l the 000000000000.cfg file, but appears to ignore it, even when I give it extension-specific config info (gives the same error). Any ideas? I'm afraid to try to provision my other phones, for fear of winding up in the same spot....

...connection disconnected Not much help. I can't seem to see any other Logs that are logging anything for this phone. Does anyone have any clue where I can start to determine the problem? Where should I be looking? On this PBX box, all the Polycom provisioning configs and settings are in /home/PlcmSpIp/ I'm new to the PBX/Asterisk thing cause I'm taking over for the previous IT guy and trying to figure out the mess he made with this. Has anyone been able to get the IP501 to discover the FTP server IP address (via dhcp or dns) and download 100% of the config from a provisioning server? We are still having to touch each unit to enter the ftp server address and password, as well as set many of the options that will not take from the config file.
