[OT] Wifi SIP phones - LinkSys WIP330
Hi List,
Hope everyone is recovering from the festive season :) (ok we still have
new years i guess!)
Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has had any successful dealings with
WiFi phones and operation with '*' at all?
I've been keeping my eye on the LinkSys WIP330 (
http://preview.tinyurl.com/nccxn ) and wondered your collective thoughts?
Would I be correct in thinking that (as

Testing UK emergency dialing and LCR.
Hiyall.
Just wondering how people test your emergency dialing in the UK.
Obviously you need to dial the 999 for emergency services, but am a bit
unsure if this would go down too well with the operator with a 'sorry
just testing' call. (you do all /test/ your emergency dialing dont
you!?:-) )
As another thing, what is the correct method when using least cost
routing... If you have a

Asterisk - SIP - TCP and Exchange 2007 Unified Messaging
Hi all,
I was wondering what the current development plans / patches etc are to
allow Asterisk to talk to Exchange 2007 Unified Messaging with respect
to adding SIP over TCP support?
I've been googleing and looking through various posts on the wiki and
all seem to suggest that it could be happening in later versions but all
seem to be dated quite old now and nothing suggesting that its

Reccomendations for connecting to 3-4 PSTN lines?
Hello,
I'm looking to connect Asterisk with three (four in the future) PSTN
lines, and would like to get some opinions on the TDM400 Digium card, vs.
sip gateways like the Mediatrix 1204, vs. other hardware solutions I'm not
yet aware of.
I need the ability to prioritize which PSTN lines are used for outgoing
calls (I understand this can be done with the Mediatrix --

Cisco 7960 SIP V6 and IBM A30P Fedora Asterisk
Hi All
Total noob on the list so all help appreciated....
I've successfully installed Asterisk on an IBM A30P Thinkpad using fedora Core 2 (I'm looking at having a mobile PBX for conferences and shows).
I've plugged in two Cisco 7960 phones....
The phones register with the Asterisk correctly and I can run the demo's and even the AIX demo through to digium works correctly.......

Cisco 7960 sccp, Skinny and 1.4
Hi All,
I'm thinking of creating a new asterisk server using the latest 1.4
stable release to replace my ageing Asterisk SVN-branch-1.2-r7231 (its
been a while!).
My only concern - my phones are Cisco 7960's (with sccp firmware 7.2
loaded) and to support them better, I remember compiling in a skinny(?)
driver to replace the (from what I could tell) basic in built sccp
support. After

Asterisk Segmentation Faults Using Skinny (v1.6.0.10)
Hi all,
I've just built a new installation of CentOS release 5.3 (Final) and
have installed both

trying to be too cutting edge) on a Dell PowerEdge sc440 server (nothing
