Hi, I have a Excel file with three spreadsheets: PlanA, PlanB and PlanC. I'm trying to read the three spreadsheets and then adding them together. ...In the samba doc, I read that "guest ok" is the way to get the "print command" done using permissions of the guest account defined in smb.conf but this also doesn't work in my setup. :/ Hints, anyone? ..., are the way I want them to. * Anyhow, whenever I try to write to that share as the user that (obviously) owns all the files on it, I just get a "permission denied". This is strange. Can anyone point me a way out? ...E+username, DOMAINNAME+USERNAME,... but is unable to locate the right user account. What is wrong here? I am having a second machine set up the same way and there it works without trouble... Hi all,... ... currently I am trying to get hold of a strange error which is successfully keeping me from sleeping the last week. Basically, I am running a DebianGNU/Linux based machine with samba 3.0.0 as a backup server for an amount of Windows NT4 workstations. There is an old backup "framework" around here, basically a collection of .bat files on the workstations which at
