[slightly offtopic] A small, fast Apache2.2 (if there is such a thing)
Hi. I''m using Apache2.2 built from source + mod-proxy + ssl + svn. Everything works fine but I''m sure you I could disable a ton of modules during the build process and in httpd.conf to speed things up and run a tighter memory footprint. Has anyone bothered building Apache2.2 from source disabling all the unneeded modules. I am planning on going through the Apache docs but I

Snom 360 and firmware 4.0 problem
...been up long enough to know if the error occurs on that one, too. The distributor's latest suggestion was to go to the newest firmware, 4.0. I did that on the new 360 (from the RMA) and with the same account settings as the one it was replacing, it could not register with *. Since I was in a pinch, I "updated" the firmware down to the latest below 4.0 and the phone works just fine. Does anyone with more knowledge than I know what might be going on? Maybe a new default setting in 4.0 that's breaking things? Thank you. -- -M There are 10 kinds of people in this world: Thos...

Patches to enable MTUs >1500 in el5.6 ready for testing.
Hi all, With help from others, I''ve been able to get Olaf''s patch for enabling MTUs >1500 for vifX.y and tapZ devices working. I''ve been able to boot dom0, launch domU and live-migrate without having the bridge''s MTU degrade at any time. Would the Xen RPM maintainers (and others) mind taking a look at the following patches? Kernel part:

[LLVMdev] Subversion head: build problem on cygwin?
...h. Once you get past that, the other build errors you'll get will be due to code assuming that uint32_t is typedefed to int. On 32-bit Cygwin, it's typedefed to long. (They're the same size, but it still confuses the compiler.) This is an on-going problem, and I only use Cygwin in a pinch, so I've just modified the 32-bit typedefs in my /usr/include/stdint.h file. I've chosen to fight other battles. :) Hope this helps. Sam

Getting names of objects passed with "..."
...t: test.func2 <- function(...) { nms <- deparse(substitute(...)) print(nms) } test.func2(first=x, second) [1] "x" I'm using "nms <- rownames(rbind(...))" as a workaround, which works, but there must be a neater way! rbind/cbind are .Internal, so I can't pinch code from there. [LLVMdev] Subversion head: build problem on cygwin?
Not sure if this is me or not, because this is the first time I've built LLVM on Cygwin, but I can't get a working compile. I've configured with the following options: $ ./configure --with-llvmgccdir=/cygdrive/i/Projects/llvm-gcc4.2-2.2 --enable-debug-runtime --enable-jit --enable-targets=x86 Configure doesn't suggest there's anything wrong, but when I try make, I almost

[RFC] Introducing the maynotprogress IR attribute
...eems. No other names have come in yet, in total the names proposed so far (I think) are: - maynotprogress - maybenoprogress - might_not_progress - nfpg - no_fpg and the loop metadata has been pretty firmly established as llvm.loop.mustprogress. IMHO, I've warmed up to no_fpg (or even nfpg in a pinch if we want to save 33% of space and lose some readability) since we've made substantial progress in clarifying the exact definitions of progress in this context and I think it's a good idea to bake it into the attribute name. I've also modified the clang patch [0] to only apply either...

[Off-topic] problem with Tinn-R editor
...been using Tinn-R as an editor for R-code however for some days I am noticing a strange problem on that, I cannot edit anything after typing something there, specially 'back-space' is not working at all. I feel, perhaps I have changed some default setting unintentionally which creates that pinching. Would anyone guide me how to get rid from that? Your help will be highly appreciated. Using dovecot with vpopmail and mysql auth?
...the 5.5 vpopmail module. I've tried downgrading vpopmail as well, with less than stellar results. I saw an old article about doing exactly that -- switching from the vpop module, while still using it's DB, but it is both a) old, and b) confusing. Any help you can offer -- or urls in a pinch -- would be appreciated.

Two regressions and one improvement
Hello! With the current swfdec (07c006a9785a5043c0a0a4b8d78b28c0735020c4) the youtube player shows "infinit/infinit" instead of time. Pinch-hitter from bug 13627 has a new problem now - the only available team is "Washington" instead of a long list. On the positive side, AOL video doesn't hog the CPU anymore (but doesn't play either), e.g. http://video.aol.com/video/comedy-funny-cat/2018555 -- Regards, Pavel Roskin
