Can't Connect With New Install
Hi Rowland-
I can connect to and read from this share on my office computer without any
modifications at all.
I would like to write, access sub directories if possible and eventually
get it working from home, but I can piddle around with this on my own if
you have more pressing issues.
Thanks,
Hal

AEX410P drops DTMF digits
Hello again list,
I'm running a 1.4.42 install on SUSE with an
AEX410P card. The DAHDI release is 2.4.0 because the machine won't properly
install 2.5 and also won't install Asterisk 10.0 because I can't get a good
SQLite3 library to install. Whenever I enter DTMF very quickly or very
slowly, app_read des on me. Has anyone experienced similar joy

Avery Lables, PDF::Writer or LaTex?
In a new app we are developing, we need to be able to dynamically create
a PDF and send it to the browser (inline with send_data). I have been
tinkering with PDF::Writer and love the simplicity and native ruby-ness
of it all.
However, one of the main uses for this functionality is to output a PDF
of addresses to be printed on Avery 5161 labels. LaTex seems to be
suited well for this, but it

Interesting VoIP device
There was some talk a couple of weeks ago about voip devices w/ ethernet
and fxo/fxs configurations. I found this while out and about and
thought it might be interesting.
Configurable fxo/fxs with dual ethernet.

libopusfile win32 dll (MSVC)
Hello,
Been playing with libopusfile today. Ideally would like an MSVC dll rather
than a static lib, but I can't see dllexports hidiing in an #ifdef anywhere.
Am I just being stupid, or....?
BTW that static lib is working nicely in vs2010 and up for streaming radio,
though it was a real pain to have to piddle about compiling openssl on
Windows!
I want to write a streaming URL source filter

TDM400p FXO module always offhook
I have a TDM400p with 3 FXS mods and 1 FXO mod. I have all set up with
what seems to be correct settings (according to digium and asterisk wiki).
As soon as I plug in my POTS line into FXO mod the line goes into offhook
state (whether I have power to the card or not). Should this happen?
When I try to call * box all I get is busy signal. I've installed stable
version, cvs version, change

Can't Connect With New Install
Thanks for your help.
I followed your suggestions and I'm getting basically the same thing.
I used your suggested smb.conf and created /home/pishare:
<mypi>:/ $ ls -l -d /home/pishare
drwxrwsr-x 2 root root 4096 Jul 7 12:17 /home/pishare
"pi" is a Unix and a Samba user.
Attempting to logon from Win 10 gives the same error messages.
Testing the connection as suggested in

Trying to open and edit a form in wine using Access 2000. Only problem is that the file I need is over the network on a win xp server. I can bring up Access just fine, click open, but when I click on network places I get this:

Freelance Rate
Hi,
Not sure where to address this question ... but I guess this is a good
start. I am a freelance Rails developer - and have been developing Rails
apps professionally for about a year now. I just want to get an idea of
what you other freelancers charge yourselves out at. I have been
charging the equivalent of about $28/hour, but get a sense that I
could/should charge a whole lot more. I am
