Rmetrics - new Built 190.10053
*The new built has now implemented my 'timeDate' and 'timeSeries'
classes which became part of the fBasics package. Furthermore, MS
Windows specifics were removed from the packages, so we can try to build
Rmetrics on Linux and on Mac OSX. Please send me your experiences. There
is now a small new package named winRmetrics which

I've changed the list posting policies to 'members only' until such time as I

What I'm asking is wheter Cisco 7960G is working with Asterisk and what
can I expect from it (quality, codec support, ...)
Second question would be, are two SIP phones enough for testing/playing
with Asterisk?

Plugin not found: ["acts_as_list"]
I am trying to install acts_as_list in a rails 2.2.2 project but when I
try the following: ruby script/plugin install acts_as_list
I get: Plugin not found: ["acts_as_list"]
I had to download the acts_as_list plugin from the github because it
isn''t included in Rails 2.2.2.
The files are in my vendor/plugins/acts_as_list folder so I have:
lib/active_record/acts/list.rb

What kind of Ogg Vorbis-services you would like to have?
Hi!
What kind of services, which use Ogg Vorbis or create value to Ogg
Vorbis-user, you are interested?
I'm a student at Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration,
and I'm taking a course in which we are supposed to create business plan
for some new business. So, I happened to bump to Ogg Vorbis in the Intenet,
and I Thought, Wow that's a really interesting product

MDI interface with sidepanel
Hi
Just started with WxRuby after using Fox. Very impressed by the easy
binary install and I''m already liking the native look and feel on MSW.
Thanks!
I''m trying to create an app with a MDI Parent Frame and a full-height
(docked) side panel with various controls in it. The MDIParentFrame
doesn''t work properly if I put it inside another frame with a sizer, so

Mac/Samba capacity detection problem
Hi,
We are having a problem between
Linux 2.6.9-prep #12 SMP Mon Dec 6 12:08:34 CST 2004 x86_64 x86_64
x86_64 GNU/Linux
(Samba version 3.0.9-1.fc3)
and
MAC OS X 10.3.5
Samba version 3.0.0rc2
Basically the issue is that the Mac reports the Linux share as being
full, and won't allow files to be copied.
We are able to work around it using this method:
Create a folder on the Linux

Fedora change that will probably affect RHEL
...e scope of individual expertise has continually shrunk.
I no longer have to know how to knap my own stone axes because I can buy a camp hatchet from Amazon to split the wood I buy at the convenience store on the way to the campground, which has paved roads, an enclosed privy, concrete pads for the picnic tables, and enclosed fire pits with cooking grates.
And we call all of that ?primitive living? today!
This would be pure luxury to a Stone Age person, but Computer Age me probably couldn?t reproduce any of it on my own. I spend my life acquiring expertise in other things.
I should no longer hav...

Changing volume via dialplan
Greetings everyone,
I am attempting to adjust the volume of a call using Set(VOLUME) in my extensions.conf file. I am finding that Set(VOLUME(TX)=x) and Set(VOLUME(RX)=y) have no discernable effect on my endpoints (Snom 300 IP phones). I have tried setting x and y to -30, -10, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, and 100 and there appears to be no change on the phone volume. I can see that the

The lulls usually only last a second to 3 or so. But it's the darnest thing

might like to have a picnic on. While the server to client looks more like
that rocky outcrop they used a billion times in Start Trek out in the
