ices 0.3 seg fault
I can crash that app in 2 songs. Here is 'everything' you need: http://dev.personnelware.com/carl/temp/icesfiles.tar (13M, 128k connection, so give it a few min...) Let me know if you need anything else. Re: SYSLINUX Digest, Vol 33, menu.c32 chaining
Hello, many of our platforms do not have a integrated floppy, some even don''t have a floppy controller. As pxelinux still has a problem with machines without a floppy in combination with some bios versions I need to chainload a different bootstrap loader which works on the floppyless platforms. But I also need to load a BartPE and the other BS loader does not support that. So I tried to

ices plays for hours, then core dumps. I replayed the last song it was playing, and it played fine. What should I post? Setting up a Pxe Server with udhcpc?
Hello, I am trying to setup a pxe server, I have a debian box with tftp-hda install, the image in place, and the pxeserver.0 in place. I have a router with udhcpc and I would like to use that as the DHCP server for the pxe server... I have been searching for some sort of document or hint as how to set this up, I could not find anything. Does any one know where a good document on this is located

.conf for 2nd streem
...re it was in the default ices.conf, but I guess I deleted it. How do I setup a 2nd stream? The first plays at 24k, I want same audio for a box on the local lan, so bandwidth is not an issue; so either don't decode/reencode or re-encode at 300+K, or whatever the highest is. how to direct the sreams to mount points
Not sure where the right place to post this is, so I figure here is as good as any... How do I tell the ShoutCast plugin for Winamp which icecast mount point to stream to? What I would really like is to have my local mp3 list randomly play 24/7, and when a lecture is going on, stream the voice an have that be the default stream. I don't really care if the music keeps playing, I just want

If you can access the stream, you should be able to access the admin console. I have had some problems though: If I use Win2000's telnet, I can get an admin console. C:\>telnet 192.168.1.1 8000

streaming PyCon
Hi list, About 4 years ago I did some streaming with icecast v1 - mostly just the audio of monthly user group meetings, with at most 20 clients. (normaly about 3.) I just got the OK to stream the audio from the 3 days of PyCon ( http://us.pycon.org Feb 23-25 ). There will be a KuroBox hooked into the sound system in each of the 3 conference rooms http://www.kurobox.com/revolution/what.html

can there be only one?
I am gonna get a vga grabber box for capturing presentations (like local user group meetings and all 72 hours of pycon08) and figure out some way to stream it. Now to pick one out... the only one I have found is https://ssl.epiphan.com/products/product.php?pid=1 It seems to do what I want, but I would like to shop around - but so far it is the only one I have found. OT: debugging dhcp hostname
Given that dhcp is a big part of pxelinux, maybe someone here can help. What dhcp client can just echo all the settings that it gets from the server? this should work: dhcpcd -d -T but it just gives me my MAC. In case anyone can just fix my problem: I am trying to construct a hostname, and trying to figure out how to quickly test my /etc/dhcp3/dhcpd.conf. this works: option
