The Mac is able to copy a file that already exists on the share onto the share. I am unable to copy a file from the Mac to the share. The error is that I do not have sufficient permisions. I have changed the permissions from the Debian side to be wide open on a test directory, that did not work. ssh supports an override for StrictModes which allows a user to use group-writable .ssh directories. Is there an easy way to make openssh do this (I didn't see options in the source)? Or is this worth adding? Rafi

...haveing a little bit of a problem getting XP to print to my linux printer. I've got the smb.conf file set up to allow xp to access the corect share and it even sees the printer but it apears it doesn't have permision to print to it.
